Mercedes-Benz has showcased the highly awaited Mercedes-Maybach Pullman limousine at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This is the carmaker's latest addition to its line-up of the recently resurrected Maybach brand.
The Mercedes-Maybach Pullman measures 6,499mm in length, which is a whole 1,053mm longer than the S-Class it’s based on. It is also taller by a 100mm, at 1,598 mm, and boasts of a wheelbase 4,418 mm long.
Inside the cabin, the rear passenger compartment is separated by an electric partition window and offers seating for four. Two of these seats are executive seats facing forward, while the other two are fold down seats and face the opposite direction. These VIP executive seats can be reclined by up to 43.5 degrees. Customisation options will be available for the ultimate legroom.
Mercedes-Benz emphasises that the Maybach Pullman offers the largest legroom for the two rear passengers in its class, and also mentions that the seats are easier to get to, in comparison to the model it succeeds.
The leather clad interior also features an 18.5-inch screen and a Burmester 3D surround system. Another highlight is the roof-mounted instrument panel that enables the rear seat passenger to keep an eye on how fast they are travelling, the outside temperature and time.
The Mercedes Maybach Pullman S 600 is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 petrol mill that churns out 522bhp of power and 830Nm of torque. Deliveries for the Mercedes Maybach Pullman will begin early next year and prices start at around EUR 5,00,000 (Rs 3.55 crore).
