To mark the 125th year since the invention of its first automobile, Mercedes-Benz will launch the new SL 350 and the New GL 500 in India on Tuesday May 3, 2011 in Delhi. Mr. Peter T Honegg, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd, will grace the occasion.
In India the GL comes with the 350cdi engine. It is an off-roader which sports electrical folding mirrors, electric sliding sunroof, and electrically folding 3rd seat row, automatic climate thermotronic (3-Zone) tyre pressure loss warning system, media Interface and a mounted fire extinguisher. The forthcoming GL 500 will be a more expensive variant.
