Maruti Suzuki has launched special edition of the Ritz called the @buzZ edition. The car features 12 major cosmetic upgrades both inside and outside. It is and is available with both petrol and diesel engine options as well as both transmission options.
Exterior changes include special @buzZ edition body graphics, door visors, special mud flaps and bumper protectors. On the inside, the @buzZ Edition gets music system with Bluetooth and USB compatibility as well as six speakers, seat covers, rear parking sensor, floor mats, door sill guards and a rear parcel tray. CarWale spoke to a Maruti Suzuki dealer who confirmed that accessories are being fitted at the dealer level.
The Ritz @buzZ edition will continue to be powered by the same petrol and diesel mill from the standard car. While the petrol is a 1.2-litre that produces 85PS and 113Nm of torque, the oil burner is the 1.3-litre engine that produces 75PS and 130Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic (petrol only).
No official price has been announced for the special edition but it is likely that it will cost Rs 15, 000 to Rs 20, 00 over the standard car. it is probable that Maruti Suzuki has launched this edition to increase sales of the Ritz as well realign its inventory with the market demand. The Indo Japanese automaker has been launching special editions of its all most all its vehicles over the last few months in a bid to prop up falling sales levels.
