Mahindra XUV500's W4 variant now gets a six-inch monochrome audio system

Mahindra has silently introduced a new audio system in the base W4 variant of the XUV500. It is the same system that was offered in the W6 trim.

The new infotainment system is a 15cm (six-inch) monochrome display compatible with USB, bluetooth audio, hands free call and ipod connectivity. This integrated music system also comes paired with a CD (MP3) player. The W8 and W10 variants, on the other hand, get a bigger 18cm (seven-inch) colour touch screen infotainment display. This system is equipped with GPS, USB (audio/video), bluetooth audio, handsfree call, ipod connectivity, picture viewer and configurable wall paper.

Only a single LCD display was offered till now in the W4 trim of the XUV500. The new audio system with a six-inch display in place of the earlier one has made the deal better for buyers going for the W4 variant. There is no difference in the price of the car being offered at Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
