Mahindra launches Scorpio Special Edition at a price of Rs.11.88 lakh

Mahindra has launched the new ‘Scorpio Special Edition’ for Rs.11.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The rugged SUV gets a few changes to both exteriors and interiors to make it more appealing in now crowded entry-level SUV segment.

The Special edition is available in Pearl White colour, along with chrome plated alloy wheels and new body graphics. The alterations in the interiors include glossy wood finish center console, tan and beige coloured European leather seats and leather wrapped steering wheel, gear shift and gear knob.

The oily-bits of the SUV are unchanged and the Scorpio is still powered by the 2.2-litre, four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine churning out 120bhp and 290Nm of torque. The features list also includes an integrated roof-mounted DVD Player with nine-inch screen, reverse parking sensors, rain sensing wipers and auto headlamps. The safety of the car has also been bolstered with Dual front SRS Airbags, ABS and tyre pressure indicator.
