Hyundai has released a teaser image of the i40 sedan, which the Korean carmaker will be debuting at the Barcelona Motor Show.
The styling of the car, designed at Hyundai's European headquarters in Russelsheim, Germany, represents the Korean maker's fluidic sculpture and caters to European tastes. The i40 is meant to take on the likes of the Ford Mondeo and VW Passat.
As can be seen in the pic the i40 has a coupe-like look with a low roofline behind the C-pillar. While other details are still sparse, we expect engine options to be the 1.7-litre diesel and 1.6 GDI DI and 2-litre Theta II petrol units.
