Hyundai Elite i20 to get updated feature list

-New Sportz+ and Asta (O) CVT variant
-Parking sensors and eco coating will be standard across the range
 - Wireless charging for Sportz+ and Asta (O) variant

Hyundai is expected to introduce some major updates for the Elite i20 across the range. In addition, it has also reduced the number of variants on offer for the premium hatchback. However, there are no mechanical changes to the range.

All variants of the Elite i20 will now get parking sensors as well as Hyundai’s proprietary eco-coating tech for the AC system. The second-level Magna variant has been renamed the Magna+ and now gets Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted audio controls, keyless entry, LED DRLs and fog lamps and a chrome grille.

The third and fourth level Sportz and Asta variants have been combined to make the Sportz+ variant. Its features include two types of design for the alloy wheels, Arkamys touchscreen infotainment system, sliding front arm rest, tilt and telescope adjustment for the steering wheel. Hyundai also added wireless charging for the dual tone and CVT variant. Finally, the Asta (O) variant now gets the option of a CVT.

No changes have been made to the engine options and transmission setup. There’s a 1.2-litre petrol, 1.4-litre diesel with a six-speed manual common across the range while the former can also be had with a CVT.
