Japanese carmaker Honda is set to unveil its renewed European car range at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The impending motor show will host quite a few new models including the global debut of the Civic hatchback.
Now although the Civic hatchback will be revealed in concept form, Honda will be previewing the exterior design which will make its way into the production model, through the show car. Scheduled for a European launch in early 2017, the new Civic hatch will be produced at Honda’s UK manufacturing facility and will be exported to global markets, including the US.
Besides the new Civic hatchback concept, Honda will also be showcasing a new version of the Clarity fuel cell vehicle. This eco-friendly model will make its European debut at Geneva, following its global unveil at the Tokyo Motor Show in October last year. The Clarity, in fact, is the world’s first production fuel cell sedan to house the entire fuel cell powertrain under the bonnet.
Honda will also display the European-spec NSX at Geneva. Following the announcement of the start of sales in the US at the Detroit Motor Show, Honda confirmed that the first European customer deliveries for the NSX will begin in 2016.
