Ferrari will be inaugurating a new showroom in Mumbai on December 1. This is Ferrari's first showroom in Mumbai and just the second in India after the one in Delhi.
The new showroom will be located at G-2, Platina Building in Bandra Kurla Complex. A five year deal has been signed with Wadhwa Group who own the property. This location is in the vicinity of many head offices of multi-national companies and will also serve as a convenient place for their sales operations. However, the service related operations are most likely to be carried out in their facility at Andheri.
Ferrari's first stint in India was through Shreyans Group, which didn't last long due to the poor sales performance and service network. The Italian manufacturer set up a new dealership in Delhi this year through Select Cars and now, the official distributors in Mumbai will be Navnit Motors. This includes laying up the groundwork and setting up the sales and service network as well.
