FCA announces new prices for the Jeep vehicle range

The prices of the Jeep SUVs have been revised. In addition to that, the carmaker has also upgraded the Grand Cherokee with new equipment.

The Jeep product portfolio starts with the Wrangler Unlimited Petrol and Diesel with revised ex-showroom Delhi prices of Rs 56 lakhs and 64.45 lakhs respectively. These were earlier priced at Rs 56 lakhs and Rs 71.59 lakhs respectively. In the case of the Grand Cherokee, the range begins with the Limited trim priced at Rs 75.15 lakhs (for both petrol and diesel). There’s a little respite in the pricing of the Limited Diesel as the pre-GST prices were higher with an ex-showroom price of Rs 93.64 lakhs. The Summit also costs less now as it is priced at Rs 85.15 lakhs, while it earlier retailed at Rs 1.04 crore. However, the SRT becomes more affordable at Rs 1.07 crore up from the previous Rs 1.12 crore pricing.

As compared to the competitors, the prices of the Jeep products remain higher as all these models are CBUs (Completely Built Units). However, Jeep is now gearing up to launch their entry-level Compass SUV, which will be produced in India, enabling the carmaker to price it competitively. The prices will be announced on 31 July.
