The successor to the outgoing 1 Series Coupe, the BMW 2 Series will be finally unveiled on October 25. Making it worth the wait the Bavarian automaker has released a short video previewing the BMW 2 Series coupe a week before the release.
For the past few months we have been regularly reporting about the car being spotted testing, its exteriors, interiors and more recently the South African website of the automaker accidentally revealed specifications and details of the 2 Series.
The exact prices will be revealed closer to the European launch and its India debut will be somewhere late in 2014. We will not get the M235i in the sub-continent, however, we can expect the petrol, diesel variants as well as the other body styles here.
As mentioned earlier, in the BMW's revised nomenclature system the 2 replaces the 1 Series Coupe and convertible and it's built on the same underpinnings as the 1 Series hatch. The all-new model will be available as the 220i, 220d and the top model being M235i. More details of the 2 Series will be revealed ahead of the car’s debut globally.
