Bentley’s Continental GT and GTC was spotted testing at the Nurburgring which confirms their intention to replace the current iterations that have been around since 2001.
One can easily recognise the obvious extra layering on some of the panelling to hide the true design. It is expected that the upcoming models will shift to the MSB platform that’s currently shared with the Porsche Panamera and will get the Volkswagen Group’s new 600bhp 6.0-litre biturbo W12 version that debuted in the Bentley Bentayga.
Both cars are also expected to get the 542bhp 4.0-litre biturbo V8 motor from the Panamera Turbo, and the hybrid setup from the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid that uses a biturbo 2.9-litre V6 with an electric motor in more or less the same state of tune. Bentley could reveal the coupe in the second half of 2017, while the convertible should follow suit sometime in 2018. Stay tuned to Carwale for more information on this in the months to come.
