The smallest car in Hyundai’s European line-up, the i10, is up for a replacement in late 2019 and our spies in Sweden have caught the new model on test yet again, this time in bright daylight. Sold as the i10 in Europe, the car will move to a newer platform, thus growing in dimension.
While exterior dimension won’t be changed, the wheelbase is rumoured to grow substantially to allow more passenger space. The three and four-cylinder petrol engines won’t be replaced for European markets, and also the price will be left unchanged: entry-level i10s will be available for around 10,000 Euros.
The Grand i10 is one of the eight new models Hyundai plans to bring in this year. The other models include the facelifted Tucson, Santa Fe and Sonata, all-new Kona and the QXI, apart from the all-electric Kona and the updated Creta.
