Vehicles manufacturing defects can make you uncomfortable but if manufacturer and its dealership doesn't support at all and behaving abnormally then it becomes nightmare for you. Similar is my experience with MG Hector Smart 2.0 Diesel. Worst ever vehicle and post sales service of MG motors. They spoiled my vehicle by replacing 4 parts without my consent or information, replaced inferior quality sunroof shutter cloth, sunroof misaligned. Now trying to lure me with free replacement of transmission system, exchanging vehicle by paying 1 lakh differential amount by customers, AMCs etc. I have denied with such offers. what will I do by taking all such offers when I have to drive the repaired vehicle. Please dont buy such vehicle and specially when manufacturer is fraud and playing dirty games for justifying its product.

Don't buy this car, very worst performance of the engine. suddenly break downs, worst service from MG people.again they tell us your driving not good. after service car become more worst.this is my 4 th car .MG hector most worst experience in my life.I am from Hyderabad here mg service worst.

Buying experience of Hector is good because if want good connected features, 5 years unlimited warranty, spacious and comfortable cabin is your main priority than mg hector is the best option for the money. The riding experience of this car is not that great as the Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta because small tyres 17 inch looks too small according to its size, plenty of body roll around the corners and highway stability is not great. Looks of this car are good because front looks get LED DRL's with LED headlights and fog lamps offer excellent illumination and rear gets Audi-Esque swiping LED indicators looks upmarket. Performance of this car especially in 2.0 diesel engine is frugal and fun to drive and better refined than a petrol engine. If you want to go to hilly areas than go for a diesel engine without any doubt. It is impressively quiet and the gruffness you hear in both compass and Harrier has been filtered out. It makes 170 hp which 30 more power than the petrol hector. Performance is pretty decent as well with 100kph and it takes 0-100 in 11.39sec. Servicing of this car is available in 2 maintenance plans i.e is classic and premium. Classic comes with 3 years 45000km and cost is 15000 and 5 years 75000km and cost is 28000. Premium comes with 3 years and 5 years with 45000 and 75000km and estimated cost is 50000 for 3 years and 80000 for 5 years. There are some pros and cons of this car as follows:- PROS:- There are some pros of this car 1.) Strong Road Presence 2.) Regined 2.0 diesel engine is much more fun to drive and frugal to drive in hilly areas. 3.) Hector comes with connected features such as voice command, gaana app, sim card embedded, apple and Android Auto connectivity. It comes with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree view camera. 4.) It comes with traction control, hill start assists, all four wheels get disc brakes, ESP, rollover mitigation, tyre pressure monitoring system, brake assist, hill hold control, front and rear parking sensors, speed warning alert, rear defogger and ISOFIX child anchor seats. 5.) Massive boot space with 587 litres. 6.) 5 Year/ unlimited km warranty with roadside assistance. 7.) It comes with other key features such as 2nd row rear seat recline, 8 colour ambient lighting, fatigue reminder setting, flat foldable second row, 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, 4-way power-adjustable co-driver seat, electric tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, heated ORVM's, auto headlamps, cruise control, front and rear fast-charging USB Ports. 8.) NVH levels on a diesel engine are simply top-notch. 9.)Cabin space is simply best in its segment especially at the rear where 3 peoples can sit comfortably with massive legroom. 10.) It has the longest wheelbase 2750mm which is 9 longer than the Harrier which has 2741mm wheelbase. 11.) Build Quality is solidly great and doors are ready heavy when you open and close the door. 12.) It has been built using high strength steel for enhanced safety and comes with thick door panels, roll-formed tabular steel door beams and hot-stamped B pillar. CONS:- 1.) There is excessive body roll around the corners 2.) Highway Stability is not that great as the rivals such compass, harrier, creta and seltos. 3.) Light steering wheel feels inconsistent on the highways and lacks grip. 4.) Hector loose highway manners and this is one of the biggest mistake and doesn't have the same rugged feel of its hardcore rivals. 5.) Not enough driver's appeal. 6.) Fit and Finish could be better and plastic quality is not that great as seltos, compass, Creta and harrier. 7.) Lacks the tough SUV feel. 8.) Rear seat under-thigh support is not that great. 9.) Clutch is very heavy in diesel variants which is not good for city driving conditions. 10.) Too much use of modern electronics. 11.) Limited service network. 12.) This is a Chinese Car Company.

1) Purchasing experience is fantastic were dealer allotted me as per my convince 2It's a pleasured experience it's easy to monuver and can make quick progress 3) Fiat 2.0 multijet it's an gem of an engine , were there is noticable lag lower down with the mid and top range performance ull forget about low end lag , as per design it has passed moose test so the proposition of the car is good no doubt in that and looks premium 4) the service is superb , should appreciate the workers , maintanence is low where the service cost it less then 6k 5)Pros - perfect value for money car with lot of features where we can't able to get in a class above cars - cons -- only cons is rear passenger under thigh support is little bit low .
