E280 CDI is example of german engineering excellence at its peak . The car power is superb and very functional , drive wise also it is very comfortable and superb. However the air conditioning needs some power, i feel honda accord air conditioning is better .The interiors is far superb than any other car in this range like BMW, classy car with superb colour range and good fuel economy

As the experience with this car I will not tell lie, It's is my dream car since I started to know about cars. I was so much fan of this car that once I purchased a 1971 model car with all orignal contion expect it's engine. The actual owner of the car changed the engine of deasel. But as it was my dream car without thinking any minus ospects, I purchased and drive that car for 4-5years. and enjoyed.

But latter on the engine of the car started problems and I sold the car. any way it was my good experince with mercedes. I wish to purchase again a good condition second hand car as I can not efford new one.

Me and my family are looking for that day we will own mercedes. Being It is a real car having excellent confert, nice driving, owning it is proudable. at the car real compenion of your life.

Exterior Excellent. I love the finish and style. and of course the logo... Its grt.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is good, and comfort level is high. good leg space. very relaxing interior.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy as expected is low, its a heavy car and i used a petroll version so u can imagin...😄. As got a used one, a 2 yr old car, I cannot comment on its engine performance, but what i am geting is remarkable... good...

Ride Quality & Handling Grt. I love to drive this car. so smooth. so elegent.

Final Words Go for it gyes. If u have a dream like me to own a merc . u should bye one. I am planning to buy a new version i.e C lass which is little less on length. may be good for kolkata roads.

Areas of improvement Nothing. but get a good size garage before buying it, I am still have problem finding a suitable garage. lol 😉.

Exterior It oozes class and opulance, its all in the three pointed star. the badge on the hood, the headlights are great its like daylight at night.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Panoramic roof, rear seat entertainnment system (factory fitted) special edition, Music system is harman and kardon it feels like being in front of a live orchestra.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Rocket on wheels, but sticks to the road like a gecko, aroung 7/8 kmpl 7g tronic auto box, this is one sweet box where the gear change is seamless, the car just pulls from standstill without any feel of a gear shift its like a cvt box, just love to take off at a signal vroooooom.

Ride Quality & Handling Smooth, silent, i have a diesel, sure footed goes where u want it too. stops on a dime but the stopping is smooth and not jerky like most cars.

Final Words The stuff dreams are made off. if u can spent that kind of money then it has to be a merc. and no other.

Areas of improvement Reduced price, and more torque.

Exterior Amazing looks bold apperence and star value in India.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) You get a E 350 avantgrade comfort in a E 220  avantgrade as all the features are the same. Moreover this model was introduced in Nov 2012, so it is the latest Merc has to offer.

Excellent gear box not seen in any other car in its class as it is G tronic 7 gear shift as in the S / M class and placed on the side of the stearing and not on the floor. This makes you feel extra special and comfortable.

Ride Quality & Handling is superb The intelegent light system help you to focus on objects near and also on the turns, the auto mode is quite comfortable.

Final Words The best buy in this price range. Since its here in india sice over two decades now so it understands the conditions the best as compared to its competators (BMW & Audi).

Reare seat luxury is what is has the most and is missing in its rivals.
