MUV with SUV looks- a family man's vehicle!

Call it fate or a happy coincidence. I bumped into XL6 like that and instantly fell in love with it. Yes, it looks like a better version of Ertiga. But I was in for a surprise. The whole experience with Nexa has been fabulous as well. Let me start with the test drive - The executives took me through the drive, explained the automatic transmission and difference with other cars, vehicle dynamics etc. The looks: From the front XL6 looks like an SUV, from the side, it looks like Ertiga and a mini version of MG Hector and from the back, it looks like a Volvo. Good ground clearance and blackened tyres The Drive: I took this car on bad roads and around corners at high speeds. It was stable, the captain seat on the back was occupied by my better half. We both liked what the car has to offer On a Long Drive: I took the car on a long drive, the car has easy manners. Route taken is Bangalore- Mangalore which included a lot of ghat sections. Can overtake well although you need to plan your move which is fine by me. The good thing is, you never get tired in this vehicle. Cruise control helped on the flats too. Few niggles - the vehicle has a grunt when you foot the paddle hard. I read a lot of reviews saying the tyres are small, even I agree...perhaps it needs a larger tyre in the same size for a plated ride, although this was as well. I think this is a practical MUV with the looks of an SUV. For a Family man, it is practical and stylish all the same.
