The Wagon-R has always been the favourite small budget car for Indian buyers & since the past 5years the Wagon-R has also been serving the Ola,Uber & other cab institutions/individuals. The car has always been easy to handle, specially in traffic congested cities like mumbai. It has been extremely pocket friendly with its owners & the Wagon-R CNG just made it more pocket friendly for the indian consumers. Now it just got simpler from simple by completing the most awaited wish of the customers that was the Automatic Transmission with the best in class spacious interiors.

Maruti Suzuki has launched one of its legacy cars the Wagon R and seems like it will go against Hyundai's Santro. The one thing people mostly don't like is its boxy shape. Of course, they tried to reduce it by giving it some curves but they couldn't reduce it by that much and the boxy shape is still visible. The curvy headlamps give it very subtle yet good look. the tail lamps look good they make the car look more tall . One disappointing point is the wheel and tire size they are small. 13 inch wheel caps in the top variant also. And the other thing is the build quality. many people don't like it and there is also a popular term for it known as 'Tin ka Dabba'. But i think the build quality more or less remains the same. The interior looks damn good this time (for me) it seems like i am sitting in a more premium car. The infotainment system is pretty good and has some good features such as apple car play and Android auto. Interior is also spacious. Rear seats have good under-thigh support good legroom, good knee room.height is not at all an issue in this car.better than santro. Talking about the engine we have 1.2 litre petrol manual and also automatic. Focusing on the automatic, it feels extremely refined good punch and changes gears smoothly. It is an 1197cc engine with, 81.8bhp. Yes the power is overkill for a city hatchback. They have done a very good job with the engine giving it a good power output. And mileage is 21.2kmpl which is very good considering its an automatic. Accessories wise Maruti launched three other custom variants ie the casa, play time and robust. Which is very cool. Overall Maruti did a great job with the wagon R definitely worth a look.
