Could be the BEST car by Maruti Suzuki

 

Exterior Inspite of Being better than its previous version, the new Blue Eye Boy lacs on Exterior style. Even the previous model also never known for its external style. The colors used in new Waggy are better and attractive but still the Maruti Suzuki (MS) could not able to give a good look to car. Still Feels somewhat boxy!

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors in VXi model are good.  The dashboard style is impressive & it Gives a luxurious look to inside the car.  The VXi model contains almost all features available in any luxury car except the ABS and Airbags (which are available in its other model which is costlier). 

When it comes to Space.. its simply amazing!!  Waggy is winner in Interior space.  In the Rear seat there is enough legroom.  I am 5 feet 8 inch tall and I have to take back the driving seat for my comfortable driving.  Still same person like me can easity seat on rear seat behind the driver!! MS have surely reduced the boot space but the features like 60:40 and 100% folding seat are great. Which allowes to carry large luggage when there are only 2 or 3 passangers. Seat fabric is bit disappointing.  I was expecting better seat covering fabric. Rear seat adjustable heatrest feature is good which I think no other car of its segment offers.

Adjustable steering is good.  Vxi models comes with Music System which is good but lacs USB port which would be beneficial to use your Pen Drive to store the songs.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As all other new MS car of its segment contain K10B series engine.. this also contain 998cc K10B engine.  The engine capacity is reduced by MS than the previous Waggy.  I really dont know why they did so (it might gave the 0.5 to 1 km more mileage/ltr).  But when your car crosses 1000cc mark it give you much powerful and safer feel.  Hope this engine perform well!! I have not used the car actually on road but by reading reviews of other users and actually my survey by asking people which are driving car on road.. they told me it surely goes beyond 15-16 km/pl without AC on highway and in city 13-14 without AC.

 

Ride Quality & Handling I took one test drive of this car.  The ride was good.  Not much change felt than previous Waggy.

 

Final Words According to me, this car is really good for all first time buyers who have 4-5L budget, with expecting minimal maintainance and good resale value. But the car looks are not trendy.  Even its look is much different than other Cars & it is somewhat in between SUV and a Family Car.

 

Areas of improvement Surely the Looks. Sometimes it feels that..MS is unnecessarily charging additional 30-40 thousands to Waggy just becoz the Waggy has became the Safer and Proven Brand! Even you can check the other car of MS e.g. ESTILO which has almost same features has Rs 10,000 less price and additionally Rs 20,000 to 25,000 thousands discount is offered by MS itself on ESTILO!! they why Waggy is 30000 t- 35000 costlier?? Waggy is really good car no doubt about it but it is costlier by Rs 30000+ than what it should be!!!
