Vitara Brezza: Father of Compact SUV'S

Well, the Vitara Brezza is the most feauture loaded compact SUV , when compared to what it offers for the money you spent on. The foremost reason for buying Vitara Brezza , was that because of it's simple yet astonishingly attractive looks. In person the car pretty much looks like an SUV. Talking about its handling, this compact SUV feels phenomenal , as one can see the entire bonnet of the car ,hence it gives a lot of confidence while driving. The 1.3 litre DDIS deisel engine, provides it's Power output in a way much more linear way, but struggles alot until you cross 1500rpm mark !. The clutch is on the lighter side and gearbox too. The gribe is that the steering wheel does not weigh up as much on higher speeds and the car also nose-dives on hard braking as ABS becomes too sensitive. The car feels nimble to turn around the corners with a slight body roll. The Turning ratio is also decent. The suspension is on the stiffer side but helps during higher speeds. The reverse camera helps the most while reversing the car. The overall looks of the car are pretty much simple yet straight forward to be honest without any gimmick!. It carries a well proportionate design language. The service cost of Vitara Brezza is moderate.Its not much expensive as such with an average cost of 6000-7000 rupees par service. Accordingly the pros of this compact SUV are that , first and foremost it looks like an SUV, it's comfortable for three people at the back due to wider space at the rear, the 328 litre boot space is more than adequate, it's having the best in class 7 inch touch screen infotainment system with all necessaries. Talking about the cons which are not more but the interiors would have done with more styling and use of a moderate Plastic quality !.
