Exterior The car has a very sexy look from outside, it also shows the strength by look, tough body, elegant look, aerodynamic shape.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious, very good for the old people to step in and sit those who have knees problem. My mother always prefers to sit in SX 4 for this reason. Most comfortable seats, which reminds me of Ambassador car, give perfect support to back. Driving is not at all tiring even after 10 hours.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is powerful, great pickup, I drove down the car from Nagpur to Goa after 15 days of buying it. I took flat 18 hours to reach, great speed which you don't feel while sitting inside.
Fuel economy is poor, my only grudge with this car. In city I get around 10km/l. The gearbox is stunningly smooth, effortless changing gear.
Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth in handling. It starts very smoothly with a great power. Handling is very very easy, no complicated switches, easy to understand the indicators on dashboard.

Areas of improvement Inetrior, upholstry, dashboard design, The steering wheel blocks the view of dashboard. The angle needs to be studied.
When you reach in a square, there is a serious problem with the view of teh vehicles coming from the driver's right side. The frame on right window and body blcoks the view. I already dashed a car coming from my right in the very first week of buying. Then I started take care while in square. It happened second time when my friend drove it. He has Tavera, he mentioned he didnt see the scooter coming from right.

Hi Friends
Wanted to change from a Wagon R to a Diesel Sedan. After research and TDshortlisted the fludic Verna 1.4 CRDI, new SX4 1.3 ZDI and the Vento.
I have finaly gone a head with the new SX4 Zdi over verna and vento.
Verna 1.4 is with very low seating and no major features, Vento again out of my buget.I found SX4 to be a better value for money product with lots of features and at the price of Vento diesel base verna variant.
Got the delievry of my car and completed close to 500 kms run, found it to be a very good balance of power and performance with with strong built and amazing road dynamics. Initial average of 16 kms per ltr.
The engine is so silent that u don't here the diesel machine inside the cabin. I got 2 airbags, alloywheels, ele foldable mirors, CD player with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, ABS front and rear fog lamps...all under 10 lakh.
Downside - limited choice of colours, dashboard could have been better, bluetooth not present, cabin richness and gears little hard.
I initially had doubts on the 1.3 ltr dsl engine as vento had much powerful 1.6 . But believe me the 1.3 same as used in Dzire does a fantastic job in the SX4 with the new turbo charger. So performane wise its and amazing sedan, The height and Grnd Clearance is amazin all msot like an SUV.

Exterior Attentions will surely fall on an moving sx4 for its exterior, where things are rightly placed, and majesticaly lifted where it needed, good family car, very less engine noise inside which is my consern comparing with nissan, hyundai, and etios, the cross bar in the front is a cause of consern during uphill as it makes a blind spot on a deep curve towards the right while driving.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great space inspite of little crunchy back seat legroom, good plastic, nice comfort, harder steering pains the hands sometimes, but regular service and cleaning makes it free, audio quality is appriciative, only missing bluetooth for a hastle free driving for a busy day to answer.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Jumps and tores the wind in 2nd and 3rd gear.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good, steering wheel handling is prety hard, like the gear rod as well.
Comfortable driver seat, pickup is adventurous and amazing, tyre grips the road and roars the roadGears & steerinsmoothness is overlooked in making, seats need hugging effect for comfort long ridesइक्सटीरियर/स्टाइल्स

Exterior A-pillar trapped me to buy this car!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good value for money. We can get better platics,gadgets in other cars. But I presume we need to spend more for that.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Awesome pick up!! Though costly to maintain a petrol car, I dont like diesel engine sounds and hence wont complain low mileage :-) My car still gives me ~11-12 kmpl in its 3+ age and 33.4K distance covered!!
Ride Quality & Handling While driving, my car says "humps/potholes, what are those? :-)" Just we{me and my car} both don't care.
Having said that, one have to be careful if you have "sport kit installed" for a very steep and bigger humps. I installed it at the time of purchase.
It will reduce overall groundclearance
Final Words Its definitely a car for fun!!
Caution: NOT for new drivers, as A-pillar will always throws you surprises if not vigilant enough. All SX4 drivers will agree with me.
Areas of improvement Flat bed for rear seat {may be its resolved in recent sx4 edition. i did not checked that yet}

Exterior Good Looking. Excellent Ground clearance. Great features. Spacious boot.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacoius and Confortable. Excellent Design. Dash board good looking.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great Fuel Economy. Approx.24kmpl. Silent engine. Better than any other car in its class like Honda City, Toyota Coroalla Altis, Verna or Ford cars.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. I have a chauffeur driven car. But it is quite confortable for rough roads.
Final Words I am very happy with the performance of this car. I own the topmost model Zdi. Glistening grey colour. It is lovely with an excellent on road performance.
Areas of improvement I don't know why Maruti Suzuki is not able to promote such an excellent car. No advertisements, no aggressive marketing. They just introduced Ciaz against SX4, which is definitely going to fail as SX4 is far superior to CIAZ. Sx4 needs just an aggressive marketing. Over a period of time it will start selling, the best point is excellent Ground Clearance of 180 cms, which is good for smaller cities with bad roads. SX4 has got an excellent fuel economy with an average of 24kmpl which needs to be informed to buyers.
