      Exterior Decent looks and the added advantage is the height.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious and comfortable, huge boot. Required features cater to my satisfaction.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very consistent especially with constant use of more than 15k km in less than a year. Mileage close to 12 kmpl with a mix of city+highway.

      Ride Quality & Handling Smooth performance, soundless ride.

      Final Words Had evaluated quite a few vehicles in its class and this one suited best to my requirements. Overall very satisfied with performance, looks and ride. Its like an uncrowned king, rather a silent player in its class, with performance doing the talking. Very good discount schemes help add value worth to this vehicle.

      Areas of improvement Stereo System : Could do with better usage of the USB - eg. to recognize all formats of ipods and improve the display panel rather than just show as "media player' (but it may be too specific to my needs), A double reverse light could also help (similar to the Honda city that was corrected earlier).

      Exterior Fantastic especially in Silver Color with Fog Lights.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable and the cloth version is better for easy maintenance.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Within city normally around 10 KMPL with AC and on highways round 12 KMPL with AC.

      Ride Quality & Handling Amazingly well balanced and sturdy to accelerate or to break. Road grip is very nice and power steering is very soft to handle.

      Final Words Every Man would satisfy his ego driving the SX4 ZXi AT for its power, speed and control. Every woman would love the SX4 ZXi AT for the comfortable driving in the traffic. Remember Automatic Transmission cars reduce the driving stress to a very large extent making people have good mood while on road and a cheerful face when they arrive.

      Areas of improvement Sensors for parking, blue tooth, remote controlled or interlocked windows that would pull up when the vehicle is locked and ready provision for an LCD TV.

      The maruti suzuki in its new aka celebration edition of the sx4 makes you re-visit the concept of a comfortable yet bold ride. The fierry bull on the road with new looks definitely grabs attention and makes people turn their backs and look again , though no significant changes have been done with the basic body design but the newer and better interiors are the highlight of the new sx4.

      "SX4 to me is the BEST CAR in its class.It is 2 L cheaper than the so called best car - has more features than most cars in its class - is an absolute fun to drive - never loses control of the road even at 140 speeds - gives me mileage in excess of 14 Km / Ltr - can seat so many people".

      I'm passionate about SX4 & just love her like anything. SX4 is one machine which just doesn't allow me to keep it away & as such have already run 1800kms in 40 days. Initial average is between 12kms - 13kms with my 90% city driving. Really good car & best in its class.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox A very powerful engine beat any car on the highway. Simply awsome power top end and mid range. Its a drivers car and a beauty to drive on open roads and highways. Smooth refined power. Only caution is you need to be a good driver to control the car at high speeds.  I get  a mileage of 15.5 Kmpl in a bumper to bumper traffic in mumbai. Have used Mobil synthetic engine oil and System G with fuel. Highway mileage is approx 19 - 20 kmpl.

      Ride Quality & Handling Road grip and control is superb. Comfort is good but could be better. Stability on the road is terrific.

      Final Words If you are buying a diesel sedan test drive this one. Incase you find a better can tell me. That is my challenge.

      Exterior so long I and many who have reviewed the car liked it for various features it has and sometime few areas to improve. Seldom we look at the car for ts safety feature, including me. But my affection for this car has multiplied many fold when we had a narrow and miracleous escape from even a scratch on Mumbai Pune Expresswy. We were moving @ speed of 50-60 on the slow lane due to heavy rains and was hit from the rear by a speeding car @ not less than 120 Kmph. The impact was deafening and damage to the car was substantial. However, no even minor injury to any one seated at the rear seats. It took me some time to reconcile and bring the car to Maruti Garage. I wondered what made us safe and next day had a good look at the rear design. I realised that the rear bumper strength, the crumble sheet metal components and the strong floor and chasis design took the entire impact. I was not only grateful to God but also to the designer, for making such a safe design.

      Exterior Very bad exterior looks compared to its rivals hyundai verna and VW vento.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very bad old style interiors. poor audio syste. doors are also vibrates in high volume of audio system. after few KM's driver seat also start grtting vibrating.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is gr8. Transmission having a problem in its first and reverse gear. Same is with almost all maruti cars.

      Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality and superb handling is its major pros.

      Final Words In an average the vehicle is good but having lots of things to improve.

      Areas of improvement

      1. Trabnsmission shifting hard (Specially for first and reverse gear)- suggesting to use synchromesh in low as well as reverse gear.

      2. Cabin noise is more. even horn noise also heared loud inside the cabin.

      3. Fit and finish needs to improve.

      4. Rear AC vent to be provided.

      5. Exterior stying and interiors needs to improve.

      Exterior

      Simple and plain looking with good aero-dynamics for perfect road grip and stability at high speeds of upto 180 Kmph on my ZDi 

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

      Quality of Plastics, music system and Ac should improve. Good seating with comfortable leg room for tall people. Good overall view of the road. Well placed large electronic outer mirrors. Execellent boot space for luggage. The A Pillar is too big and blinding when you take a right turn. Need to look out of the Driver side window before taking that right turn

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      Very zippy Engine, though noisy at times, for crowded city streets and stop go traffic. Equally good for long and high speed travel. very stable at speeds above 120+ kmph. Super Braking and probably the best performing ABS EBD in any vehicle I have ever driven. Grips the road well as I have driven at 180 KMph without increase in my heartbeat. Returns good mileage of 15.90 Kmpl with AC at speeds of 80 - 100 kmph. Gear box is smooth and silky, gear stick travel is also moderate. Could easily have 6 forward gears. Clutch is very responsive too.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling

      Feels like an angel while driving and floats when you cruise at 140 Kmph. Miss the cruise control very much. Have covered a maximum of 1200Kms in about 16 hours of driving.Good aero- dynamics with Low wind noise at high speed.

       

      Final Words

      Both 0 - 100 and 100 - 0 is great. Good car for its price

       

      Areas of improvement  

      Quality of plastics, 'A' Pillar should be redigned, Brake pads wear off too soon, Climate Controlled AC is not powerful enough for the cabin space, fog lamps are a laugh. Costly maintenance that works out to about INR 1 per KM. 

       

       

      Safety, simple looks, ground clearance,good for busy city streets & for highways as wellBlinding and dangerous 'A' pillar, Fuel efficiency, high maintenance cost.

      dear friends,i want to tell u a clear picture between hondacity and sx4 confused people... let me introduce myself...im bobby,doin egg... my father have hondacity zx exi and my brother recently take sx4 zxi...so i think i kno better about styling as all we know sx4 rocks and all ppl wil look you whnevr u parking..thtz a great thing...the ride in sx4 is no special...all talkd abt sx4 ride grt etc...i dont think these ppl ever travel in tht for more than 20km.... if you considering ride then hondacity is way better... ya itz true one wil feel bit lack of power while overtaking but with sx4 no such worries.... if talking about fuel economy here honda giving 16km/ltr combined in 50% city and highway with ac full on.. sx4 giving mere 12km/ltr... while driving sx4 ma brother hardly thinks about low mileage..in city driving it comes to 10km/ltr.. the integrated stereo in sx4 is really bad quality..i mean itz jst ok for someone want just want sound..im talking about my age music level....also sad thing is we cant replace the stereo.... itz very difficult to pull sx4 beyond 4500rpm..... the sound from engine become tht pathetic and one wil release acceleration pedal when hearing that sound... about ac.....whtever itz best compared to hondacity.... then let me talk about sx4 boasted features... hey if actually speaking from my experience therz no need of airbags....accidents happening all time or u want accident?hey think who will gona drive ur car above 100kmphr?it will b just one or two time?i mean the airbag will be waste if no accident happns...and v guys xperience accident anitime?for me no..... about abs.....itz needed but not tht use if u driving below 100...jst think onli 10% of vehicles in india have abs and all other running without tht... compared to this hondacity really rocks...im sure one will love itz driving....if frank i love to drivr hondacity than sx4...you will feel proud driving honda as itz like driving a benz.......sx4 driving is very normal and difference is just driving like a zen with lot features and siz...am i true na?ya itz like tht....im not trying say sx4 is bad...but frankly itz not upto mark compared with hondacity.....great featuresmileage

      As per Maruti MEN ARE BACK is the main media ad. for SX4.

      I have dislodged that ad. by buying SX4 Zxi .

      I am a 55ys old OLD MAN bought SX4 Zxi  1 ½  months back by changing my Baleno. So far driven 1900kms.

      The following are my experience:

      1. First I will give the mileage fig. since everybody is very keen on this. It gives a mileage of 15.3 km/l  on highways with AC on always. This was arrived by automatic filling technique in petrol bunk. Average speed is between 60-75 (being old person very passive driver.)
      2. I find difficult while taking reverse.
      3. The back seat head rest blocks review mirror. Hence removed the head rest and now it is good
      4. Slow speed city driving is not that good as my previous Baleno
      5. Highway speed driving is far far better than Baleno.
      6. Breaking and steering are extremely responsive. Nothing to grudge.
      7. Climatic control and steering wheel audio control is extremely user friendly.
      8. After say a travel of about 20-25 kms when you bring the engine to idling in neutral gear I hear some cam or chain noise inside the cabin.

      Hai who are all having MEN ARE BACK can give their car performance and comments
