      Nice car, love to ride it, good mileage, good interior and perfect sporty car and look is also sporty it is good to use on mountain area the steering is also good for mountain areas.

      For little over 9 lakhs I got the 2021 ZXI AMT trim in Bangalore, Also added a MGA reverse camera for 5000 from the dealer. This car has features not available with the competition at this price point namely other AMT cars like Nios and Tiago. Build quality and passive safety is terrible compared to the Tiago (the Tank) but makes up by offering additional safety controls like hill hold control, Electronic stability program, Traction control and Brake Assist .This along with idle start stop function , more powerful engine and smoother AMT gear box make driving a breeze. Compared with Nios, the front seats are equally comfortable but back seat comfort not so good. Also Swift suspension is too stiff which is not good over potholes in low speeds. Compared to this Nios Asta and Tata Tiago have a softer suspension. Braking in the new Swift is as good as the Nios. Of course the Nios also does not have hill hold assist, ESP and other safety features. The improvement over 2018 Swift is the new 2021 AMT gearbox is finely tuned and has less noticeable head nods. It has bigger brakes, the steering returns to center, the new touch screen infotainment system has better UI, Engine body protection under cover which also prevents rats from chewing the wires, a more powerful and refined engine with better mileage and better response at lower speeds. I am getting 18 mileage in city driving and 25 on the highway, but of course I drive with a light foot. Cornering at high speeds in the highway is good thanks to its 185 65 15 inch Tyres and ESP. Overall a value package for lower middle class, with acceptable space and comfort, active safety features and also lower service costs backed by the extensive Maruti service network.

      2021 Swift AMT compared to 2020 Swift has lots of improvements. 1. Engine more powerful by 7 bhp. Lower end torque has been improved for a better ride at lower speeds. 2. Amt gearbox is now more finely tuned and precise, even smoother than i10 Nios. 3. ESP with traction control is added, which should be made a mandatory safety feature for even budget cars. This helps in high speed cornering and driving in wet conditions offering better grip. 4. Hill hold assist helps in both slope ascent and descent. This is an extremely useful feature which helps in heavy traffic conditions and prevents your Amt car from rolling back. 5. Mileage improvement over 2 kmpl compared to 2020 model, in spite of an increase in kerb weight, thanks to dual jet engine. 6. Steering now returns to center. 7. Under body protection cover. 8. Idle start stop function. Useful for stopping and starting at short signals. 9. Better infotainment system with smart play studio. 10. Only for ZXI+ , Cruise control and MID display.

      It's been nearly 5 years since am driving the new Maruti Swift and not to mention it's been a superb ride. Even though it lacks modern tech and proves to be below-par on the safety standard. it's very comfortable ride wise. One of the best in it's class for a city ride. And the cherry on top - maintenance is very low with a great buy back value.
