Exterior The Exterior is not great when compared to Hyundai Creta. Looks more ike SX 4 in front but the rear is nice.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) You get a good feel inside with spacious rear leg room, good view for the Driver seat though there is no adjustment facility for lower end models, good knee support,good storage facilities though boot space could be better.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The Sigma model 1.3 has the proven diesel engine and good drivability especially in a city like Mumbai. average at 15 Kms in city driving conditions is very good. Gear box is sleek. steering feel is good, and the initial drag of the diesel engine is seen as compared to petrol ones though it does not hamper much. Highway driving is also decent though not great and the JK tyres are not giving the quality of drive that otherwise the car might provide. Change tyres if you can at the earliest if you drive highways frequently. ABS , Dis breaks and airbags being standard equipments are handy and give you a sense of confidence while driving at 3 digit speeds.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good assisted by good suspension and disc brakes though at low speeds the stiffnes of the same throw you up from the seats. Head lamps are not great during night times and if you are frequent highway driver better change the headlamps with more powerful lights. I wish Maruti provide the project lamp in all the models. It is no t available as an accessory also. I am yet to take a for a long drive but the feel of the car has been good.
Final Words Maruti has reduced the priice by about Rs60000 on all 1.3 models and by 2 lakhs on all 1.6 models. Those who bought the cars earlier have been taken for a ride and Maruti should provide free upgrades by way of accessories to compensate. S cross is a good breed for the present price offer and you get a feel of a big sedan while sitting inside.
Areas of improvement Headlamps, Tyres, boot space and Nexa service. The Nexa staff are inexperienced lot and one sees total commotion in the showroom and though they try to be pleasant, they seem to lack the expert salesmanship that one normally encounters in such places.

Exterior May not be the perfect looking beauty you would like to own,but this car will over a period of time start becoming your favourite. The alloys if replaced with good ones does change the appearance. Otherwise loaded with projector lamps etc which really makes heads turns as only premium cars come with white lights and in india we dont have many of these.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Brilliant package, great space and packed with touch screen infotainment screen, steering controls,etc etc. You dont feel fatigue when you have so many comforts and will love to take car on long highway drives.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Having driven 40,000kms in 1.7 years I get a very consistent mileage of around 17+ in the city and around 20 in the highway at speeds over 100.Smooth and power packed engine, a tad slow in pickup till the car crosses 1500rpm, beyond that is a beast ready to take on the german cars.
Ride Quality & Handling Overall a very comfortable car to drive in the city or out of town aswell.
Final Words If you are not really bothered about exemplary looks in a car,then simply go a S cross.You wont repent with your choice at all.

I bought this car on 21st September and have drove it for about 700 kms. Positives- Space and comfort of cabin with good interiors, driving comfort- drove it 350 kms in 1 day and didn't felt like tired, pick up is more than good once turbo starts, mileage- got 19-20 average in city and 24-25 on highway with smooth acceleration and Max speed of 100km/hr, didnot felt uncomfortable while passing bad roads, it's stability is so good. Negative- Not found yet.

Exterior Purely subjective, I didnt give much attention to this point since many garnd looking cars are not worth riding.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Classy, except for the rear ac vents.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The display shows a fuel economy of 20.8 but I am not sure about it, yet to calculate.
Ride Quality & Handling I have done 18000 Kms in 6 months, handling is perfect, can be controlled even at high speeds, The only issue I noticed was the obstruction of vision by the front pillar. It can be dangerous when you are turning right, but driving is all about alertness and preparedness, just be careful, thats all.
Ride quality is not upto the mark, suspensions are not so good, it seems. I dont know whether JK Elanzo tyres are the culprit as suggested by some friends, I havent tried Michellin/pirelli till now. But this segmant needs improvement. Again, the sound insulation is poor, and in lower gears, the engine sound is real nuisance.
Rear seating is not comfortable comapred to duster, For long drives, you may have to use a cushion to give proper support to the back.
I have some problem with headlights, but it need not be generalised. Planning to correct it during 20 K service.
Overall I love this vehicle, driving comfort, pick up, space good interiors, mileage all make this car worth.
