Ritz not a good choice for long drive

 

Exterior I purchased this car for my sister, i hate the rear design but she loved the way it looked.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior rocks . i give full points.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine rocks . the K series engine proves,  Worst fuel economy it gives 8 - 10 in city with 100% ac , 14 in highway . crossed 15k km still Mileage sucks. Worst part is reversing the car, the reverse shift doesnot shift easily, It takes ages to get used to it ( may be my i20 and new wagonr is soft shift ) . major flaw is the gear stucks and it was corrected in the 3rd service but it reoccured after taking it to hill.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is fantastic but only in city, On crossing 120 the car is not stable. i get a floating feel. The service people made a wheel alignment and changed the air to nitrogen , Now last week took to kodaikanal and on highway i reached 130 the ride is not as good as i20 or new waggy. The best part is my father and sister feels the car is best for driving so i felt this is a best car for a middle aged people and old aged people.

 

Final Words The design sucks. Expecting more being a maruti lover. Please fix the gear box issue as well as the body steel is not as good as Fiat or Hyundai. its so light. It gets a dent when a cycle wala hits this car :( . Mileage depends on the driving styles so i dont say much but it never gives above 15 even in highway... in city not more than 10 - 12 max...

AC makes eveyone shiver... trust me tat too in chennai being hottest always

 

Areas of improvement Build quality, gear box , mileage , may be the rear design and the black spot while reversing (NEW DRIVERS PLEASE AWARE THIS IS NOT THE CAR FOR YOU).

 

Interior space :) 5 motta people can easily fit inside, City drive ( not bumper to bumper) ,Fuel economy not promising , the shape sucks , blind spot, reverse gear stucks too much , road view
