Exterior
Stunning looking car. I got mine recently and I can't stop staring at it. I think this is by far the best quality of this car, after trust of Maruti. I remember when Maruti had launched the Swift, I felt that was one bold and revolutionary move. I felt the same way with Ignis. Full five star for styling here.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The look and feel should be appealing for the most, however, it didn't excite me as much. I like the interior to be more subtle, Polo like. But then that's me. :)
The plastic quality is typical Maruti like and doesn't give any confidence. But I knew what I was getting into. Even the lighter colour of the dual tone colours used is a bit light. I wish it was a bit more beige like than gray-white like. It will get very dirty.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
I bought the Delta Petrol AT. I am very happy with the performance. It's really peppy in city peppy which is where I die everyday in. Was confused between MT and AT but took the call in favour of AT. I am confident that it's the best decision that I took in recent times, other than getting married to my wife (she was not my wife before marriage, just clarifying). I ahven't taken it to highway yet but I think it should work fine. Also, I haven't crossed 2000 kms and driving the car very subtly right now. More will follow later once I cross the run-in period.
Final Words
Excellent car. Not value for money though. I wish the car was cheaper by 1L and it could have send all other cars in the segment to scrapyard. Also I'm very wary of safety standards of Maruti. They are delivering what Indian consumers really want so not their fault maybe but I think with each new product they launch they are making their cars more Indian like. We Indians leave safety to God and this is exactly what Maruti is also doing. :P

I went into Maruti Suzuki NEXA showroom to see Baleno but when my eyes were diverting to look at Ignis and thought that it looks almost similar as Maruti Suzuki Breeza. It is very comfortable to sit. The seats are adjustable and luggage space is very large. Sensors behind the car are very sensible. The car doesn't look like that it is 4 seater but more than 5 people can seat. Alloy wheels and exterior are very nice. It comes at an affordable cost between 4.5 lakh to 8 lakh. The base model along with insurance and papers goes to 5.5 lakh and top model (Alpha) goes to 8.5 lakh. Bookings are open at the NEXA showrooms. If you book today, you will get one after 8-10 weeks. Maruti suzuki lgnis look is veru beautiful. Maruti suzuki ignis is small car. Complete family car which is being loved by everyone. Maruti Suzuki is available in so many colours like pearl uptown red, blue, greay etc. Go for Ignis.

Exterior Funky design really stand out in the crowd. Small foot print is easy in city driving and parking.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space and comfort is really good. Suzuki did a wonderful job in the packaging. Something similar to Honda's man maximum and machine minimum. You can see the engine hood is tightly packed that space comes to the interior. Enough headroom and leg room for all passengers. Tallboy design design makes sure you can load even taller things after folding the backseat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.2 K Series engine is a gem in terms of performance and fuel efficiency. Lower kerb weight keeps this car peppy even in higher gears. I clocked 3000 KM only and waiting for the first service on 10K. I'm getting 15km/L in City+highway drives (combined almost 50:50 each) and this is an interesting number for a brand new car. I do hope this will improve after the first service. Coming to the gear box AMT shifts are not as good as my expectation. There is a serious time lag in downshifting and we need to carefully do the overtaking manuevers. I always prefer to drive in manual mode because of this.
Ride Quality & Handling High speed behaviour is interesting and you never feel that car is running out of control. But the steering really lacks the feedback and it's really really dead. I've driven swift before and the fun to drive factor is seriosly missing for this car.
Final Words Overall this car is value for money.
