I love my Esteem

Exterior I have a silver coloured VXI 2007 model. The car is good looking, with tapered & aerodynamic exterior, well suited with a rear spoiler

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Enough space for 5, good leg room. Only problem is the low-lying seats, which may be minor irritant for big people, while getting in or, out. But, once you are accustomed, not a big hindrance at all, on the contrary, you may like the posture, which is more aligned to racing cars.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine & gear shift is excellent & smooth to say the least. Only mileage is a minor issue, specially with AC running, which dries out the fuel at a rate, much higher than other Maruti models.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is decent enough, but hope the suspension could have been a tad better.

Final Words This is an excellent driver's car, with good drive & performance. Esteem is swift, responsive & handles really well. Areas of concern being the head lights & fuel consumption. But overall, this is the car to have, which is total value for money & can give stiff competition to a few high end models as well (of different make). This is a sedan, which any middle class family, may aspire to have.
