I was on a road trip with one of my freind. We were heading to manali from delhi in his recently purchased maruti suzuki ciaz. It had done a few thousand kms. When i first saw the car it looked amazing, the car sure is.
PROS:
1. It has a upper hand in terms of space, boot space is exceptionally good, considering a c segment sedan. even space inside the car is very nice.
2. I was familiar with maruti's petrol engines, but one on this vehicle has more punch to offer. The 1.5L k series motor pulls with ease and hybrid engine makes it a comfortable ride.
3. Suspension is on the smoother side.
4. Premium feel interior makes it a joyous journey to look forward.
5. Plenty of features to brag upon.
6. Gave us mileage of 20kmpl, making our trip reasonable.
CONS:
1. talking of the build quality, it not up to the notch. we didn't had a any drastic incident but there was a bike that barely touched our vehicle, leaving a dent on on of the door. i wonder (may god save from such situations) what would happen in a major compact.
2. steering wheel doesn't center itself. now that sometimes gives a issue. i just does not recentre. i have a swift that is from family but steering on that is very good but didn't meet hopes on this one.
3. 2 airbags in top end model. like this is 2019, rivals offer 6 and some 7 airbags. safety has not been the priorities of maruti we have seen, but being flagship vehicle of the company i think it should provide with some safety, they may increase little bit of price.
No car can be like a perfect one, but if someone wishes to buy feature loaded, pocket friendly, spacious c segment sedan that is a fun to drive, they can surely go for this one, but this car is surely, not safe. Thank you.
