Exterior I bought the car in Dec 2017 and I am extremely disappointed with the car after driving it for two months.
My biggest complaint is about the driver side door. I have to literally bang it every time to close it. A normal swing of the door does not close the door and you may be swinging it multiple times normally before banging the door closed in anger. :(
I am told this is an issue faced by lots of Ciaz Owners. So please watch out before you buy.
The front grille is boring and old looking, a bane of all Maruthi cars. Lacks artistry. The rear is good looking; has an uncanny resemblance to the Honda City's rears. And it appears that the Swift Dzire and the Ciaz share the same rears.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Cons first: Plastics at the bottom on both sides running along the length of the car underneath the doors and the workmanship are of poor quality. The joints between the plastics don't close properly and one piece projects out. You have to be careful getting out of the car not to get hurt hitting the projected plastic and not to break the plastics as well.
Secondly the AC is disappointing. I think it is undepowered on a 1.4 L engine and you feel warm even in Dec/Jan (winter months). Am just worried about the prospects for the summer.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is nothing to write home about. Compared to claims of 18 KMPL etc, I think on road fuel economy is around 12 KMPL. In these days of ever climbing petrol prices, this is a rip-off.
Final Words Disappointed with the car compared to the excitement that I had before purchase and during the first couple of days of purchase.

Exterior Very European styling, sleek design to look at. Something that would not look outdated anytime soon.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious, comfortable and gives an upmarket feel. Good quality material has been used by the company. The cabin is rather silent considering that we drive on bad roads and traffic. The ac is powerful and the ac vents at back really help in making the cabin cool effectively and efficiently. The infotainment system is user friendly although a little slow. The instrument panel on the dash board is ergonomically placed. Easy to read and decipher.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The Petrol version is extremely silent, agile and a great pickup. The fuel economy is reasonable for a mid size car. Very smooth change of gears, the gear stick is well placed and doesn’t tire your hands. Gear ratio is well established and does not require frequent shifting.
Ride Quality & Handling Extremely comfortable and the vehicle responds well to evasive maneuver.
Final Words Must have car under 10L.
Areas of improvement Could inmrove the power of the car.

I'm thinking of purchasing alpha petrol version one. Exterior look is perfect, interior also perfect. But there's something missing like touchscreen gadget is sometime very slow even not responds, and there's no adjustable headrest in 2nd row not even in alpha version also. I request NEXA to take care on this two missing points.
