Baleno decision details : baleno over i20

My search started with swift, but after testing some cars I decided to shift a segment above, that is the segment of premium hatchback. When you talk about premium hatch baleno and i20 are the two which strikes your mind. So I took test drive of both and compared every aspect, what I found was the petrol baleno is far better in performance and fuel economy then i20 which was enough for me toh choose baleno over i20 as because the feature list of both was almost same. I personally loves the looks of baleno over i20. The space, seat comfort in baleno is better, the headlights in baleno gets led treatment which is again better then i20's hid lamps. Thought the interior appeal is better in i20(which I felt) was not enough to chose i20 over the mighty baleno. The baleno rides and handle s well, but the stearing feel is lacking. Talking about servicing, maruti network is one of the best and cheapest, also maruti cars are known for its less maintenance. Even the car is very fuel efficient, I am getting up to 21kmpl (petrol manual), so you could save some bucks there as well. Also, Buying a car from Nexa is an amazing experience in its own, they greet you so well with gifts and all. If I have to mention all it's pros and cons, it will be as follows Pros:- 1. Good performance 2. Great fuel economy 3. Feature loaded 4. Cheaper maintenance and service cost 5. Amazing looks ( may depend on viewer) Cons:- 1. Bit stiff ride over real bad roads 2. Some scratchy plastics in interior *The whole experience is just for petrol engine baleno and i20, I haven't tested diseal engines.
