मारुति सुज़ुकी बलेनो [2015-2019] यूज़र रिव्यूज़

Have bought Baleno Alpha Diesel in April,16 and crossed the odometer reading of 17500KMs recently.  

Exterior

Like in every reviews, the looks are great and styling is awesome. Day time running LEDs, Xenon Projector headlamps and LED tail lamps which are available only on top end adds premium effect. The liquid flow design style makes Baleno stands out from other competitor products. The only improvement require is the sheet metal used. It is very thin and a small scratch or dash keeps deep impression on the vehicle.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Spacious…When you get in the Baleno, you feel how much space is available be it front seats, rear seats or even boot space. Best in class leg room at both front and rear seats. For people with height  6 feet and more may feel some lack of head room at rear seat. For long drive, you will never feel tiredness and get comfortable, premium drive. But I’m surprised that Baleno being premium hatchback, even in top end model, company is giving fabric seats. Dashboard is really refreshing and different from other Maruti products (except Steering wheel – similar to Ciaz, Swift) but plastic quality could have been better. Smart Play Infotainment (Manufactured by Bosch, Germany) is really good and touch screen response is pretty impressive. Apple Car Play really works wow. But I faced issues with USB (16GB USB with almost no space free). Most of the time the system hangs while selecting the songs from USB and every time I have to format the USB drive. Voice Assist is really superb. On a click of button, you can play Album, Song, start navigation or make a call. Navigation is so so. Maps are not quite updated and hence suggest to cross check the route with google maps.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

I am using Baleno in city like Mumbai. So in Mumbai Traffic I am getting fuel economy of 22 to 23 KMPL (avg. Speed of 60 to 80KMPH). Recently I took my Baleno for long drive to South and covered 2850 KMs in 4 days. It was extensive drive (on an average 700 KMs per day) and got the fuel economy of 26.89KMPL. No doubt the roads were 4 lane to 6 lane and my average speed was 90 to100 KMPH. One thing to say that I never felt tired after driving so much. Sometimes the RPM goes below 1000 and engine knocks, but very rarely. Overall full marks to Baleno in this section.

Ride Quality & Handling

At low speed (upto 110KMPH) it is very smooth drive. At high speed, due to light weight you may not get that much of confidence and feels that vehicle is wobbling. I have touched the speed of 145KMPH, but only for few seconds. So it may not be the right vehicle for speed freaks. Suspension quality could have been better, especially at high speeds and speed breakers. But again, due to light weight of the vehicle, you may get the feeling of jumping’s.

Superb car. Extreme comfort for long drives, city drives. Efficient, Comfortable, Stylish and Premium Drive.

Areas of improvement

Exterior Excellent looking of the exteriror, head lights, front looking style, , nice interior space, good stylish/design of back looking.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice interior space for the front seaters and aslo rear seaters feels comfortable seating, sufficient luggage space and front dash board digital paramters.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox After 1000 km driving experience feels that smooth engine operation, satisfactory fuel economy and nice gear box shifting arrangement.

Ride Quality & Handling In the highway feels better  but in the local and modest road condition found normal rear suspension can be improved for the better travel

Final Words Simply super, viewers are looking as a different car in the road. After purchased this car, feels comfortable and glad recommend to others to /refer / purchase Maruthi suzuki baleno madel as your chioce.

Areas of improvement Suspension to be improve for better feeling on local drive, dash board can be improved to the short persond for the better view. For this in all version seat height adjustment provision to be availed.

Exterior Outstanding design - Similar to Merc A Class and Merc GLA

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Amazing features, largest rear space in it's segment and outstanding comfort in all respects. The MSIL has given all the features a person looks that is steering mounted controls, ABS, EBD, Rear wiper and washer, rear defoggers, front defoggers, power windows, anti pinch windows, keyless entry, HID Projector headlamps, Daytime running lamps, Voice command, height adjustment, tilt steering, telescopic steering, UV Cut glass, chrome door handles, chrome interiors, glove box illumination, front footwell illumination, luggage illumination, Multi information color display - TFT, leather strapped steering wheel, front fog lamps, auto headlamps, auto diming IRVm, follow me home, lead to vehicle, front centre armrest with storage, height adjsutable driver seat, push start / stop button.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine gives a punch feel esp after 5000 kms, fuel economy of 15 in city and 18 on highways and gear shifting is smooth.

Exterior

 There is not to complain about exterior styling. for normal people the design elements looks taken from the premium brands like audi etc. However the top model gets some major tweaks about styling as the DRLS really go along with the front style and grill.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior comfort is best in class. the cabin has good ergonomics and seating posture.

Seating mounting controls are desent , however i have faced some issues with the bluetooth button. rest all is well .

The center consol is beautifully designed with nice silver inserts.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Baleno shares its engine with its brother and sister. due to less weight of the car, the mileage and power felt is more.

Though I havent measured the mileage, the electronic meter shows the value of 17 KMPL in the city. taking the error of 2KMPL, ithink 15 is the best. This is for petrol

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent.

Final Words If you are looking for value for money and high relaiblity then i think this is the only option with Honda Jazz highly overprized compared to the feature it  offers and Hyundai I20 is also costly then this and have less mileage.

The top model gets some extra features like UV tint glass , Apple carplay, TFT screen in tachnometer and many more, which are only available in Baleno!!

Areas of improvement Few ares like rear armrest missing, rear AC event. although if you are looking at the top model then there is nothing to complain about.

Super. Comfortable to drive.more space. Look like a BMW. Sound less engin. Poor horn. Head light not very good.good for small flmy. Nexa in mangalore is good .shokupser is little bit week. Load pickup is week .and interior design is supper. I am very happy choose baleno delta .i am fully satisfied

At first,I thought it wouldn't be much amazing but when I drove it,it was amazing! The exteriors as well as interiors are super sporty and trendy. Nice car huge boot space. Real value for money. I suggest the first car buyers to buy this premium hatchback. It is way better than elite or 120 active or Honda jazz. Please buy this car. If you are thinking of Swift,pay a little more and buy the baleno. Very nice car. Feeling lucky to buy it.

Good: Spacious.. Stylish.. Mileage is good.... BAD: Light weight Poor quality interior plastics, very thin exterior door matals dents easily bybhabd push.. very very poor suspension... Poor pick up... Mist formation onnrain every time...Need to heat the front glass everytime...No dicky light....

Baleno is Good car with a hopeless steering. Steering is not coming back to its position after taking a turn. Twice sent to service center to fix the problem. Car returned to me with comments that no problem founded and Steering will get smoother after some kilometers. They talk with poor MARUTI attitude that SAB CHALTA HAI. Peoples are not keen to rectify problem. Surprised very much that a flagship car of NEXA is delivered with a big fault. Still trying to understand that what they did in PDI. According to their behavior it seems that they can't come out from culture of Maruti. Also very much disappointed with service of Excell Autovista Thane.

I got my baleno last month in July 2017 , yup it's really good beyond my expectations it's a nexa product obviously premium car , in nexa showroom i got good hospitality and service ,. I took one small ride to buy,after test drive then I decided immediately to own one baleno , after getting my car i went some places with this we wondered i got millage 18.9 km/lit in highway before my first service hope i could get 22 are 23 in long run after 5000 km. interiors are awesome real premium, out look is beautiful i have no words to praise My sincere advice those who want to buy a new car just take one baleno test ride then decide
