मारुति सुज़ुकी बलेनो [2015-2019] यूज़र रिव्यूज़

Small budget car, very nice and rich quality, comfort car. it's driving is good, easy to comfort, maintenance is very less, oil service get less amount, quick service and spares cost get very low amount compare to another brand, easy to drive.

I wanted to Buy Car upto 7 Lacs so I was trying various Hatchback. One Fine day I went to Nearest Nexa to check Baleno. The moment I saw car inside the showroom, I loved it. I took the test drive. Let me tell you , it is really poor car in terms of suspension. it is not at all pleasure to drive. It was my good luck that Nexa people took me to the road which was full of potholes. In 200m I realised this is very poor car. I will not recommend ths car to anyone. All that glitter is not gold is proved by Maruti.

I finally brought VW POLO ALL STAR petrol version . It is such an amazing car to drive. wonderful suspension and superb built quality. only thing which pinch me sometime is mileage which is 10 to 12 so far since I drive only inside cantt. hardly get chance to shift to 5th gear.

Maruti Baleno- Worst car to purchase...Overheating issue and Metalic sound in 4 months of purchase-

Chasing maruti from last 6 months and every time fail to receive a single positive output.

Recommendation- Purchase a second hand 10 years car rather than purchasing Baleno

I have purchase a so called Hot selling product of Maruti suzuki Nexa Baleno after comparing with Hyundai i20, toyota etios cross and many more and waited for 3-4 months to get this car. I was not aware that i need to suffer a lot on daily basis after investing my 6.7L on a bullshit car even after my 12 years of driving experience with having international driving license.

 

1. Overheating issue arises just after driving of 5-6km and continuously overheating after and after a gap of .5km.   2. Engine creating metalic sound multiple times while driving.   Also communicated with you that how much i am suffering from last 6 months because of these cause and false commitments of Maruti suzuki workshops even after visiting multiple service stations where they always done the temporary fixing of issue and make me feel of wastage of my whole money.   Now i am so much frustrated and irritated from Maruti services which is so called as no. 1 company of india and also the Bale car- your no 1 hot selling product.Only stryleMaruti Baleno- Worst car to purchase...Overheating issue and Metalic sound in 4 months of purchase-

Driving experience is very nice and comfort is also very nice mileage is good overall features are also good this car is value for money service cost price is affordable and looks and performance is also very nice.

Exterior Contemporary, unlike earlier Suzuki models launched in the country.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Only black interiors available. Beige or Tan would look better. Light coloured seats absorb less heat while parked outside in hot summer days. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance OK. Though even after driving 500 km, the gear shift knob is a bit stiff. Average 14.5 km/l in city traffic.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. No issues threading thru heavy traffic & congested roads. I have driven ancient Ambassadors, Santro , i20, Honda City and Amaze & owned Maruti 800 , Chevy Aveo UVA and now Baleno. Baleno is as good as it can be with current technology and pricing.

Final Words Good value for money.

Areas of improvement Choice of light coloured interiors, Flat roof at rear. Smoother gear shift knob. Considering our roads, two more inches of ground clearance would be superb, but that's asking a lot for an already heavily in demand car.

For a sub 4m hatch, it has fair enough leg space at rear seat.Tapered rear roof / ceiling. Flat roof would have provided a bigger boot with more storage space.

Exterior Great Looks, Shape.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great Driving pleasure, smooth steering,unbelievable space inside, Reverse camera very clear, Navigation very good and useful, info about mileage, expected mileage, distance to empty. Automatic AC gives decent looks avoiding the usual knobs.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great Driving pleasure, smooth steering,good mileage, Excellent Pick up.Gear changing easy.

Ride Quality & Handling Very Smooth, finger rolling steering, Great Driving pleasure, effort less driving, no stress while driving. Very good music system. Fun to turn car in the corners.

Final Words This is the no. 1 hatch back car in the entire Country. Please let me know if any car can give competition to this car.PLEASE USE IT TO BELIEVE IT. Have used Jazz, i10s, 20s, figos but no coparison. Servicing at door step, excellent behaviour of staff inspite of such a huge success, pick up and drop service.

Areas of improvement AC Vent, Back arm Rest, More height, interior should not be black.

I have got my Baleno Alpha in late March/2016 and I am very happy about my purchase and the exterior looks are amazing, especially with the DRLs, they are head-turners. During the initial days, everyone used to stare at my Car.  

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Comforts and conveinence features are top-notch. Ability to connect your smart phone either through CarPlay(iphone only) or through Bluetooth is simply superb. Cool touch-screen, TFD panels, electro-chromatic IRVM for night rides and UV cut glasses are excellent. Siri works great and my children really loved the CarPlay. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 My earlier car was SWIFT ZXI, to be frank, SWIFT was a great car for drivers, Baleno pick-up is not that great compared to SWIFT, but it's close. I would say 80/100. Gear-shift I have liked in SWIFT only, its far smoother than Baleno. But, you get used to it. Regarding the mileage, I have to admit that Baleno wins hands-down. My SWIFT gave around 14/litre after 3 years of usage, but Baleno is giving me from second month. It could be even better because I drove in a very busy bumper to bumper traffic

Ride Quality & Handling

The other department that Baleno scores is, Ride quality and handling. This category, it wins hands-down against my old SWIFT. The quality of the ride is so smooth and NVH noise levels are very well controlled. First week, I felt like I got deaf, because it was such quite, but after that I get used to it probably.  

Final Words

This is the best can I have purchased and drove till now and I am very happy about my purchase 

Areas of improvement  

1. Rear-view visibitliy is a bit poor when rear head restraints are fully opened. It could have been better, also ORVMs could be little bigger. 

2. If your engine stops in the middle on the road, the CarPlay doesn't start after you re-start the engine. You have to un-plug and re-plug again. It's glitch I think

3. Sometimes, re-starting an engine is really a pain, Don't know what you were doing wrong

4. Maps and inbuilt navigation is useless, they should have provided Google maps instead of Nokia maps and I have till date not used even once. So useless and crap. 

Otherthan the above, everything else was good and great. So, go for it, you will really love the Car. I know the wait is too long and I had to wait for 2.5 months but it's worth the wait. I would have switched to Brezza if they have offered the petrol version, but they didn't and I am satisfied with Baleno.

Great Style, Creature comforts and Excellent comfortBasic version of CarPlay and some glitches

Exterior Excellent, specially the tail lamps. And the interior space is great.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Awesome Features, Its a a true value for Moaney.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Just driven it for a few hundres Kms so cant comment on the Fuel Economy, Engine is responsive but requires a downshift (at times). Can reach to fifth gear even in Bangalore traffic (Sometimes), and the Gearbox is smooth. Only once/twice the gear was stuck at 2nd Gear, might be cos its a new car, I expect to be even smoother after the first service which is due in a few days.

Ride Quality & Handling Hnadling is superb, for such a huge car, you can easily nimble around easily in the traffic. Ride quality is a bit hard, as I said the suspension cannot be compared with the i20 which is at the softer side. But when the car is filled with 5 passangers the suspension does a good job, so I think cos of the light weight of the car, suspension is hard only when there is a single passenger in the car.

Final Words Its a value for money car, the safety feaures are all good, and its very spacious.

Areas of improvement Maybe in Delta version there is no need of an auto AC (cos I usually use it in manual mode). Maruti would have given something else in place of an Auto AC, things like the  Projector headlamps or the touch infotainmant system.

Exterior styling, Interior Space, GearboxThe suspension, its a luxury car, its not supposed to be such hard, and the waiting Period

Exterior OK, I bought ray blue. it is smart. total appearace is pleasent. everybody look at my car. I am proud of it.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) OK, Very spacious. all of my family members are more than 5'6" tall. they all can sit comfortably. black interior is very strong. sound system is nice. TFT also smart. meter cluster is desgined wisely.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox OK, WOW. it is nice. I did not think CVT is this good. little bit od sounds of the engine is commng in the car. see, who can stop it at all. even te best aircraft also designed ont in 100% sound proof. some amount of sound comes to inside of the vehicle. it is accepted.

Ride Quality & Handling OK, easy to handle. good and reliable breaking system. a person can depend on the spped and the breaks.

Final Words OK, I hope the body metel will last long. my 1st car wagonR got corrosions soon and my 2nd car swift dzire too corroded soon but not like wagonR. let me see how Baleno resist to corrosions.

Areas of improvement  - local sri lanka agent, AMW doesn't have spares yet example cain/ac filter.
