I was almost ready to exchange my Swift 2013 car with this one but after researching it thoroughly and after driving it for few kilometres I changed my mind and postponed until it's getting upgraded to Baleno 3rd edition probably in the year 2020. Looks, performances and features wise it's good but not the best.
Here, I'm talking about the Alpha 1.2 variant, the top end model of Baleno
Cons... 1. Gloves box being tooooo small and without an AC duct.
2. As the car is lenghthy enough touching almost 4 mtrs, so, a rear AC Vent with blower speed control and direction lever must have been provided. In summer, when outside temp. reaches out 44 degree Celsius that time it's being felt very badly, or else you need to turn the blower to max speed and make the cabin very noisy.
3. The back seat centre arm rest with cup holders and some utility holes. I don't understand why this feature is not added to this premium model of Baleno.
4. The plastics and switches, just carried forward from the Swift which I'm still the owner, and the steering wheel, I feel like I'm driving my Swift car only till the time I look on MID (multi info display and Touch screen infotainment).
5. HERE maps is not as smart as Google maps, so, never whole-heartedly depend on it, and Maps are not also updated before delivery of the vehicle.
6. NO.. Android Auto on Infotainment, just Apple car play. I don't know WHYYY....
7. LED lights should have been placed to lighten up the interiors/ Cabin and in rear boot space.
8. Alloy wheel look like normal wheel with smart wheel covers found in the market until you go really close to.
9. Radio antennae could have been like a Dorsal fin instead of Swift's.
10. Some more colour option should have been there, like Dual-colour or combination of colours.
11. DRLs should also start giving directions to the turns along with blinkers on mirrors. I mean to say, if i want to turn to the right the DRLs should run the light from left to right and vice versa for left turns.
12. Overall, no such premium feeling whatsoever.

Exterior & Interior looks great. But the problem with my Baleno was web sudden braking, the car moves freely for some seconds with a rotary motor sound( it's not ABS). Now 2 days before my car broke down in travelling, the problem is with engine pump. Currently my car is with service and waiting for availability of new parts which S not n stock anywhere. Feeling disappointed in maruti.

Exterior Look wise its best in the segment. U will feel an Premium hatchback.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space inside this car is very good,comfortable for 5 passengers. AC is powerful. As it is a sigma i had a option to choose the multimedia touch screen music instrument by paying extra money. When i installed it the entire cabin looks prety awesome.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine @ low RMP is not punchy but in India conditions we have to compromise. But when it crosses 2000 RMP engine starts to respond.
Fuel Economy I am getting 16- 18 KMPL on highway with AC. @speed 0f avg 85-100 KMPH.
Gearbox Very responsive & very smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth Clutch & Handling is very smooth. Ride quality is good, Suspensions are little hard compared to other vehicle in same segment.
Final Words Overall its a value for money. My suggetion go for sigma model & you can customise the car feature a according to your budget.

Exterior Looking good. Material ussed is low quality.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are good but not as mentioned in the list like CD player.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Eng performance is good. Fuel economy is also good.
Ride Quality & Handling Driving experience is good.
Areas of improvement The service provided by NEXA is poor. I booked the vehcile on 31 Jan 2018 and got the delivery of vehicle on 19 Mar 2018. I demanded the Feb 2018 model when booked the vehicle but on ground I received the Jan 2018 model.
This I came to know on receipt of registration paper in Apr 2018. The staff kept me in dark about make at the time of delivery. On enquiry no satisfactory answer/reason told by the staff. After 10 days of delivery one tyre got damaged. I bought this to the notice of the NEXA. They had completed the formality of sending the photos of tyre to the Appollo and handed over the report from Appollo tyres that the tyre damage is external and could not be replaced.
I had lodged the complint about delivery of Jan 2018 model instead of Feb 2018 to NEXA Manager Sangli Maharashtra but no reply received till date. Now I am going to file a case against NEXA in Consumer Court. Very very bad experience from NEXA.
