      This is my review having 17 years of driving experience & driven this car for 5 kms. I own Ritz AT (CVT gear shift) & driven many ATs in US & UK.

      Exterior Like Alto 800. No specific change except swift back headlamps & slightly bigger rear lights. Boot was ok for a trip of 2 days not more. Front grill looks nice.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior looks a segment higer. Plastic Quality is hard, Piano finish, Interated stereo is nice. I am 5'11" & a person of 5'8" was able to sit behind me which is not the case in old Alto (My wife 5'2" cries for leg space). Front seats space is not great though. Steering & side of dashboard was hitting my left knee. Seats are good, not excellent. People will not comfortable on drives beyond 100 kms. Rear seats are good for short journeys, Strictly in budget. Front power windows are nice touch, however wrongly placed & it needs lot of pratice to operate them below hand brakes. Audio quality from integrated stereo was at par. If needed, I can close AC vents of side which is a nice touch & not to give cooling to seats or door like previous versions.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its the same proven K10 engine which operates Estilo, old K10 & AStar (all Out of Production), Wagon R, Celerio, Stingray. Fuel Economy can't comment on a 5 km drive.

      However Car is pathetic in D mode (Which is super dooper excellent in Ritz, SX4, Civic, Accord, Vento, Polo, Yaris, Vios, Innova, Vernas, corolla, camary etc. all ATs I drove). May be I am expecting too much from this AMT box, but Don't dare drive in D mode. Upshifts & Downshifts are strongly & badly felt as a jerk (Again I have so far driven Ritz AT for 11000 kms which is fantastic). I engage D mode, accelarate, & what the hell? A strong jerk when it moves further & upshifted. Big jerk again when upshifting further automatically. Then applied breaks slowly for downshift & jerks again?. Big disappointment. I thought of getting down immediately. Then thought, lets try Manual mode (like triptronics in German, Japanese, Korean cars). I was relaxed. Finally I saw some movement in car without jerk & with AC. If you are planning for D mode to drive, pls don't buy or else don't complain.

      Ride Quality & Handling I mostly drove bad roads & bumps, & strongly recommend trye upsize. Felt a small pit as a thud which never felt in Ritz (Again bad comparision). Handling was easy, nice & quick. Car is easy to drive & park.

      Final Words Good budget car. You get feature pack Alto VXI AMT (4,38,000 Gurgaon) for a price of Celerio LXI which is only bigger in some dimensions & may be interior quality. Personally speaking, I was seriously considering this as 2nd car, however after this experience of drive, I am 90%convinced not to opt for it.

      Areas of improvement

      1: Improve or tune AMT in D mode Please or remove D mode.

      2. Why the hell Length was reduced. Car already has length as per tax rebate standards. They should have gone with same length or give back those 30 mm leg room inside which you chopped.

      3: Height needs to be increased further by atleast 40 mm. It's difficult to get in.

      Jab mai alto k10 ATM purchase kiya tha tb 15000 km hi chala tha or car v 2017 modal ka tha, mujhe purchase kiye huye 1 year ho gya h avi tk koi problem nhi aaya h, sitting chair v comfortable h.

      Exterior


      Very Nice Exterior, Fog Lamps for vxi modiel required,

       The Exterior is kind of sporty and OVRMs and bumper melded into body color are a nice touch. Headlights and taillights are swanky built and add to the sportiness.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Very Nice Interious, NAvation System Required for VXI.Looks wise it is far better than the old alto k10. Comes in attractive colors. The headlight really looks cool


      Dual colored dashboard looks great. Audio system is really good. AC works perfectly fine in hot Delhi summer. There is also a bottle holder near the gear box. Power widow in the front is an advantage

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       Engine is smooth, Good fuel economy and Gearbox smooth and easy to use.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Ride quality is very nice, 5 peoples are bit conjusted 4 for small drive, best in handling

      Final Words

       If you want your first car go for alto k10, AGS will be best choice. Fits the Budget. Fits the Bill. most ideal car for daily city commuters. You find service stations very easily and get cheap spares.

      Areas of improvement  

       Interiors can improve, cabin space, seat adjustment needed

       pick up P mode is also needed.

      Good Fuel Economy, Good in Style, AMT easy to drive, Nice Music SystemLess Spacious, Cabins are not sufficient

      Exterior It really looks good as like ford Figo.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seating is really comfortable for rear and still near 6 feet peoples are unable to bare the seating comfortable and also the worse plastic setups. should improve their quality on it also if u have bad road, then u'll feel the bad sounds inside :(.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Sometimes the D mode will give you slow performance while climping ups in hills and it wont give you that much pick up in while starts. Also the bad part is dont dirve more than 100KM speed, if you do so, than u'll feel bad steering control and worse shaking. But still its really good to drive without any stress and you wont get tired.

      Ride Quality & Handling As I said in above, its really good to go if u're in 100 KM speed..not more than that.

      Final Words Value for money, but now we're having some more good cars in same price/less than that too.

      Areas of improvement Interior, pick up (P mode is also needed), and should provide the strong body to avoid the outside sounds (while bad road driving). 

      And also they should get increased the speed limit with atleast 120 KM and avoid the steering shaking.

      Very helpful cooperation from a dealer, its a one of the best car, have good pickup and mileage, easy to drive in heavy traffic areas, narrow streets, occupy less space for parking, lookwise its a beautiful. I love my car and fully satisfied with its performance.

      Pros Normal service cost 2500. Mahir service after 60000 cost 16000, mileage around 15-16km/l, Fun to drive, Cons Feeling jerk in amt when gear changing. Music system can't be upgraded easily.

      Exterior Good and improved from previous versions.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Back seat space is cramped  , no,space for glass or bottle. as left foot is free there should have been sufficient space for leg, it is cramped and knee place is not sufficient. Similarly pavement of AC controls and fan etc is at very awkward position and require looking downward.also placement of glove box is also bad.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Really disappointing from Maruti, first few hundred km very frequent AMT problem, then when user start adjusting then sometime very dangerous vibration if accelerating after green signal, everyone in DElhi want you to accelerate adequately. AMT is proving a very bad decision.

      Ride Quality & Handling Experience is bad as comapred to my 2002 ALTO LX 800 CC , I lost my faith in Maruti.

      Final Words Better avoid AMT in all models as internet is full with bad AMT in celeario too. 

      Areas of improvement AMT Unit imported by Maruti need to be change , or tested for indian heavy traffic.

      1. Buying Experience Bought the car during Navratre 2016. Booked it during Shradh so got a discount totaling 50k including exchange bonous for our 22yr old 800 and corporate benefits. Finally delivery was smooth with all the customs and formalities. Credits: Rana Motors Tis Hazari, Delhi 2. Riding Experience It can give you feel of speeds in excess of 150kmph but would suggest not to test and be below the 100mark. There is not much to complaint about at this price point. Smooth ride if driven with a light foot. AMT needs time to get used to 3. Looks This car brings positivity to your life with that smiling face welcoming you. Performance Within the city its a cracker won't disappoint you when you floor the gas pedal. 4. Service and Maintenance This the part where I laugh the most. Its been more than two years and regular services apart from the 3 free services I even got the 4th one free from Rana Motors. And total cost of servicing my car is just 2500till date which includes 2 oil changes and coolant change in 4th Service. So its almost INR100/Month till now. 5. Pros Fun to Drive Powerful for city use AMT makes it breeze to drive through those congested lanes. Pocket Friendly Cons Strictly limited for 2 adults and 2 small kids, anything more than that would be really a task to accommodate. FE till now in city(Delhi) has been 11-12km/l in city with Full time AC & 13-14km/l without AC. Highway mileage can vary from 16-18km/l with AC and 19-21km/l without AC *these mileage figures have been regularly calculated since the day I bought the car through tank full to tank full method. And the figures have remaining more or less the same, 21.23 was the best I could achieve on highway without AC by driving in the range of 60-80. The AMT sensor failed once in the 3rd month when the car stopped responding to gear change, had taken the car on flat bed towing machine. The car has been working flawlessly since then. Should have some advance technology or atleast dte and mileage indication in instrument cluster. No rear wipes and defogger. A lot of cost cutting in terms of quality and features. Finally would conclude by Worth every penny spent. But if AMT is not a necessity you could consider a trendline polo 1.0
