      This car is zero maintenance and very reliable for long drive also.it never breaks down if u do timely servicing.i have been using for 5 years now and I hav just changed brake pad twice and timely mobil change n nothing else and still it's working like maakhan

      Purchased as New Alto K10 VXI on 07/03/2016 on Shivratri Monday. Total running only 12012km yet. Avg between 14.5 to 21km per Litre. It's best for small family. Maruti Suzuki workshop just 1km away from my house. Best car with 1.0 L engine under ?4.25 L only. Many more specification in it. I'm very happy to bought it. Thanks to Dear Maruti Suzuki India.

      Indian automobile market leader Maruti Suzuki as it proves for times and ages again now makes a game changer history for those who prefer for entry-level compact small car segment with pocket-friendly reach for prospective buyers. Alto K10 with its compact design and great chassis makes a unique yet Authoritative presence on road. I am writing this review after exactly 2yrs 10 months usage of my K10 VXI model and could pretty much reckon that it's a satisfying deal for me. Its 998 cc engine generates exuberating 67 hp producing 90 nm of torque with 3600 rpm which really is a good proposition taking in mind the small platform the K10 is built on and makes riding experience quite amazing with good presence on road with those extra revs getting generated pushing the peddle down on high speeds. Taking a look at mileage is the place where ALTO K10 beats its rivals and competitors all together. Unbelievably in the city, it gives a mileage of 18-19.5 kmpl and for highway, it goes to 22-24 kmpl(reading derived post full tank empty tank). Car is though quite small and really makes difficult for 4 people to fit in with no leg room or knee space, so would give a thumbs down in that perspective. Boot though, on the other hand, is average to fit two medium bags. Dash too of the car inside has piano finished music system but with low quality plastic. Services provided by Maruti are quite satisfactory with extremely cheap spares compared with the odds of other foreign brands. Pros- Ride quality, mileage, low maintenance. Complete peace of mind. Cons- only that I can find is the space rest all good.

      Well what else I can tell about this car. It behaves like my 3-year-old son, small but peppy, always surprises you. I have driven it through city road and have taken it for a ride through Himalayas in Uttarakhand (Nainital, Badrinath, Mana, Janki chatti, Yamunotri, Harsil, Dharali). Guess what, 1000 cc K10 engine acts like a beast for the size of the car. Handled all the twists and turns of small hilly roads with ease like it does in city and did 120 kmh in highway just like that. The car is bit small, but for four of us, (me, my better half, and two sons), it has just that much space and for the ride it gives, it is a monster albeit a little one.

      Buying experience: I bought it in the month of December, so enjoyed heavy discounts. White colour top model K10 took 15 days to be delivered
      Riding experience: The car rides pretty well, pickup is too good. Car doesnt show lag in performance even when i drive it in bumper to bumper traffic with AC kept on. It offers good ride on city and highway roads.
      Details about looks, performance etc: Looks of the 2012 model k10 seems hotter to me than the newer edition. It has good headlamps and sporty tail lamps. On performance I must say this car is a pocket rocket. It resembles to the old zen in terms of performance. The pickup is too good. Wheel spins well on initial pickup n car never lets u feel short of performance. Eventhough this car cost less than 3.75 lacs the performance is better than many sedan and premium hatches. Im very satisfied with this car.
      Servicing and maintenance: Servicing and maintenance is dirt cheap and make me feel that i drive a pocket rocket
      Pros and Cons: Pros: Powerful performance (0-100 km/hr in 14 sec) Good fuel economy (20 in highway) Cheap spare parts Cons: Inferior buil quality Interiors bit on down side Leg room is less But at that price point I feel these cons can be overlooked

      Exterior

      Its nice and I got the side mirror and door handle painted to make it even attractive, and in vxi u wont have the side beeding and I got them too. The paint is new and different from its old models.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

      The Music system is really new and attractive.

      People will not comfortable on drives beyond 100 kms. Rear seats are good for short journeys, Strictly in budget. Front power windows are nice touch, however wrongly placed & it needs lot of pratice to operate them below hand brakes. 

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       Good pickup and gear is litlle hard but clutch is really soft to use.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Handling was easy, nice & quick. Car is easy to drive & park.

       

      Final Words

       Good budget car

      Areas of improvement  

       

        Maruthi should make it even more stronger and this Will make the customer even more happy. Its a good piece from Suzuki.
