Not many cars are there that can justify value for money as this. More than 3 years on since I purchased this car, I have not faced any problem so far not even a puncture thing. Very reliable and driver-friendly car. Best budget car for a small family.It moves fluidly, has excellent steering control. Engine worked perfectly with soundless performance. Space is some problem but that can be negotiable given the overall look and performance of the car. It has all the quality which a low value car should have. Bonnet is little longer but still I rate it best looking care among its peer. I love driving this car. Having used it for three years I would strongly recommend to go for this if you have small family and small budget.

Exterior The chrome grille gives it an imposing stance despite being a small car. Tail lamp treatment too is funky. Flowing design makes it still likeable, though we have seen for over a decade in the avtar of normal Alto
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Pleasing blue interiors, adequate space for four adults, 117 litres boot actually is more than adequate for city chores.
Dash may not be comparable to new age competitor eon. However, would surely conclude that this is a very functional dash that satisfies all essential requirements.
Could have provided few door pockets and seat back storage, which would have made the interiors even more complete.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox K10 engine is a silent performer. At times, feels too powerful for such a light car. Great power and impressive mileage of 15-16 in city drive. Expecting to go up further (improving with every refill of fuel). No drop in engine performance with airconditioning on. Gear shift too is soft and gear ratios for ideal for choked city traffic. Hardly a need to come below 3rd gear.
Ride Quality & Handling If we can moderate our expectations from an entry level economy car as this, it is truly worth the money paid. Being broader and shorter (compared to the tall boys in the same style), gives amazing stability even at 110KMPH speed on highways.
Final Words Bought this as a second car, primarily for city commuting. So impressed with driveability of this car, nowadays finding reasons to drive this only in all possible occasions
Will surely recommend this for all first time car buyers and also people who wish to own a second car for beating city traffic chaos

Fuel economy is great but promise satisfying towards mileage around 17Km on average delivering right by i buyed just one month back and dorve 200o kms staright less than in 30 days.

Over all seems be a good decision in choosing first cars in my carrier and in all excellent option in the market available compared with hyuandi or so.. in the same price range.

Promotiom of ALTO K10 to be done as based on quality customer though the price are somewhat equals the price of Santro then why ALTO social status on market segment seems to be on lower end in comparsion. Maruti S needs to take several steps on this through adversting statergy.

Ride Quality is Good till a speed of 80 kmph but for 100 kmph feels unsafe a bit shaky

Hi I am owner of Alto K10 since Sept 2011, I have almost driven 30K Kilometres, till now i have changed my Clutch plates, the time since i buyed the car i had problem shifting the gears, during my regular service i had asked the Fortpoint service centre in thane they said its ok, it will come some time but will stop when your engine would become smooth after certain kilometres, when i finished 15k Kilomoteres the car started making more noice, then i changed my service centre to Top gear in thane, advisor told me (appka gaadi jorr se ghade mein apta hai is liye awaj aata hai), after I drained 21K kilometres voice became more miserable and It was making a noice at alevel difficuilt for me to drive. again i went to same service centre Top Gear, one good meachanic identified its a issue of klutch plates he suggested me changed it and hurrey noice is gone.
I still have issue shifting gears, I still see clutch pad is not as smooth as other car clutch pad. sometimes Istill have issue shifting gears, as if I am changin BUS or TRUCK gears.
Now I want to say some good things about the car, Car gives a good Mileage, Maintenace cost is low, but would recommned not do any major repair work at authorised showroom beacuse they cheats a lot.
Car runs at a good speed of 80KMPH dont go above 90 as it becomes a beat shaky when AC is on.
Good milage in city & highway extremly good.
Overall its a good value for Car if I dint had any issue with my gear shifting, Car is good to buy

Itz an amazing car best suited for city drives owing to its small size and excellant mileage. Fits in a little space besides itz easy to navigate in congested parking space. Gives approx 10km mileage in slow driving and approx 12 to 13 km in long drives. Comfortably and stylish. Only nnegative point is that once AC starts working speed slows down.
