Alto 800: A pocket Raja!!

Alto 800 CNG was my preferred choice as my daily running was 60km and fuel option was CNG. My purchasing experience was not that good. I had to wait a whooping 2 months for the car delivery. I was told that the manesar plant was shut down owing to annual maintenance hence the wait. The dealership experience was also not good. I had to wait at least an hour everytime during my visit to get attended. All these bitter experiences were washed away with the car. It was smooth, highly fuel efficient and maintenance free. I almost spent nothing during 3 free services. OEM provided tyres were rusty though, they worn out quickly. I am still owning the car and enjoying it. I have driven the alto 800 for long runs, 1400 km in a stretch without any issues. The car feels small though, and can't do good at cruising speeds. It wobbles and looses confidence in three digit speeds. Also headlights are weak and not sufficient for night driving. Also boot space is compromised due to CNG. Overall Alto 800 is a good daily use car. The peace of mind with good resale value makes it a good first time buy.
