Exterior The design is conventional but good looking but the paint quality is not that good that i expected. It gets scratches very easily.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dashboard is very good to look at. Interior quality is also good. The only downside is the lack of storage spaces, there is only one 1litre bottle holder in front of gear lever. The driving position is very low and is not suitable for taller drvers. The rear space is an issue for long drives but for shorter city runs its good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is top notch in this segment. I have took yhis car to konkan 2 times in the ghats with 5people and load of luggage then to car doesn't suffer ti climb any hill or incline.
I even took the car to the hilly regions of Raigad where the big big cars like xylo and ertiga were finding difficult to climb. But my Alto with full 5people climb the inclines in 2nd gear. It's really a good car and I took a very correct decision to buy an Alto rather than going for Kwid because performance matters more than the looks and faetures.It cruises at 120 kmph without any fuss and can also go beyond that upto 140 kmph. It has 35litres of fuel tank capacity so it can run 450 kms in one fuel tank in any condition and i had tested this. It is also a rev happy engine and when it is revved hard it doesn't make lot of sound and the sound which comes is also not irritating like the kwid.Fuel economy is also good I get 14to15 in city traffic in Mumbai and on highways it gives 18to19. The gearbox is very slick to operate and has very short throws, the only problem is the reverse gear doesn't engage fully at first time but as you release the clutch little bit it engages automatically.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good, It absorbs the small bumps and potholes, only the larger ditches and potholes feel into the car. Handling is good due to the low height and low ground clearance but it doesn't thud over the big ditches.
Final Words It's a very good family car. It's for the people for those the engine perforemance is the priority.
Areas of improvement Boot space, rear legroom and the problem in engaging the reverse gear.

I have done a lot research and had driven all the competitors cars in this segment. Finally I decided to go with Alto 800vxi 2017variant. It is good car for small family. I use it daily for travelling to work in heavy traffic.
Riding experience: I have driven 15000kms and running good. Which includes 70% city runs and 30% highway. I have driven 700kms continuously and by short break every 2hrs for refreshments, I didn't face any stress on my legs or back. It is having an electronic throttle sensor (also known as drive by wire) so accelerator pedal is very smooth. Power steering is very smooth and there is no vibrations as assisted electrically. Ride quality is food in office puttu but better below triple digits speed. I have got the best mileage 21kmpl with AC on 1speed full-time on highway which includes 4 passengers and 80kmph average speed. In city I usually travel alone with AC on always and I have got 16 -17kmpl. AC is best and cools very quickly except for slow pick-up. Maintenance: it is not so expensive to maintain. Actually cheaper than 500cc bike's maintenance cost. I haven't spent any major repairs or parts. It is pocket friendly. Good thing is it requires engine oil change at every 10k kms. Oil costs rs.2000 max includes engine oil, oil filter and labour charges.
Pros:- 1. Value for money. 2. Service network. 3. Japanese engines usually runs longer. 4. Mileage. 5. Less running cost. 6. Good resale value. 7. Best in class AC.
Con:- 1. Instrument cluster is very basic compared to others. It doesn't make any major issue. 2. Driver legroom is minimal when you wear sneakers or boots. 3. In hill stations AC should be turned off for Overtaking as it is mileage focused.
Overall it is a small budget car and we cannot expect sports performance. I love it and I am very happy. I stick to service schedule. I drive it daily without any fuss. Good for city and weekend trips.

Exterior Exterior is good, Not stylish but looks decent. Front looks like Ford's Figo. Back side looks very nice.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space is good for 5 average people. Love the AC cooling it's really fast. Given headlight leveling good for night driving. Seats are comfortable even rear passenger can seat confortably. Ignore myths.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox What is love most about the car is it's engine performance. Pickup is very nice. Smooth Gearbox, reverse gear only sound wierd when you don't shift it properly.
Ride Quality & Handling Superb handling, stearing place exactly at right hight. Nice view from cabin. Suspension are good to absorbe.
Final Words I love it. Just go for it if you are looking car under 4lac. No other can beat this upto 4.5lacs price even in 800/1000 cc engine. Remeber only performance gives you satisfaction of your hard earn money not style.
Areas of improvement Seat upholstery color could be more attractive. That's it. Cool.
