Exterior Has a good exterior styling. The new head light and tail light has added beuty to the model of the car. The exteriors are very elegant with the new signature cuts.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is less but whatever is there is stylish. It has ash tray vanity mirror everything u want in your car as you go on a ride.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good engine for a small car. The key feature of this car is its feul efficiency. For long route drivbers. Heres your car. Go buy it.
Ride Quality & Handling Good power steering. Has a good engine with a power of 998 cc.
Final Words A good car, gud to buy but if u hav other 50,000 then can go for spark or estilo. Never the less its a really very gud car and in coming years will become the best buy.
Areas of improvement It can improve in its rear design as well as can increase the width of the car. Can also increase its height if hieght will be increased it will certainly become the best buy according to me.

Exterior Over all good.Attractive colour.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Medium.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Avarage 18 KMPL, Engine do not have capability to take up from lower speed in 2nd gear when A/c is on & 4 passengers are sitting, it develop tendency of stopping, many time stopped. In city every time you slowed down below 20 KMPH you have to shift to 1 st gear for gaining the speed. Though the engine capacity has increased from 800 CC to 998 CC but you will not feel the benifit of power difference. A/c is good & capable. Gear Box is little hard to operate. I have purchased my K-10 on dipawali from Vao Motor Patna. I paid 3.48 on road price For k10,LXI. Dealer has taken Rs.4000/- for extended warranty of 2 year that is from 3rd to 4 th year. But on paper only 3rd year warranty is mentioned, after asking the sales executive told that it will automaticaly updated in system after expiry of 3rd year. Maruti SuZuki has to be clarify about the fact.
Ride Quality & Handling Satisfactory. Power stearing is good.
Final Words Over all satisfactory.
Areas of improvement Pick-up & gear shifting should be more smooth.

I have brought Maruti Alto LXi, with Flash accessories and SONY CD player with front two speaker at 3.16 lakh on 17 Oct 2010. My experience about Alto is very good car. Only problem about car are is Front Light, which is sort out by replacing lamp of 130/90 with cutout cost Rs.1000/-. I have getting 20 to 21 km/liter average with A/C on. My monthly driving is app. 1500 to 1800 km. Pickup is not good while AC on. The most economical car which I have seen. It is a reasonably comfortable car that seats 4 adults easily. However the head room and the leg room will make you feel like you're cramped up in a plastic box. 5 adults sitting in this Maruti car would be a bad descision. But then again, its good enough for four people. The driver's seat is comfy too which makes the drive hassle free and non cumbersome.
The choice to buy Alto was a mutual decision in my family as we could only afford an entry level hatchback. Amongst the few options available, Alto suited all our expectations and needs. The car has given us a great driving experience both in city and on highways. Its comfortable, looks good, performs well and demands very low maintainence. I did not opt for power steering and that I feel was the only mistake I made. I feel super to own this car and it has become a part of family over the years. I am a really happy Maruti Suzuki alto customer.

Exterior Pretty good , feels like old Zen , i wud prefer Zen if it was in circulation , but still it has bold style statement.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfy for person less than 6 ft , Leg space adequate for rear passengers , Dashboard is an old one , Muruti shud have given it either Wagon R's or Swifts dashboard , with stereo thrown in , plus keyless entry is not given while CATS is provided for safety.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance is very good with even AC ON , Good on Mileage , and Handling is quite easy but some time shakes on low speed if on Higher gear.
Ride Quality & Handling Very safe as Power Steering , as the Engine is 1000cc it gives some noice inside cabin as well.
Final Words Quite a good chioce for first timers , as it provide good economy and within 3.25lacs range.
Areas of improvement Interiors need improvemnt.

I am having Alto LX Car Since 2004 & same is giving me troble free operation and full value of money and very good avarage 25 kms/ltr of petrol @ 50 to 60 kms speed per hour and tyre pressure 30 pund per tyre on Delhi - Gurgaon Express Way Driving especially in Morning time 7 to 8.00 am , i ll suggest to my friends to go for same New Vechile ,best in its class , full value of your money, easily abaiblty of spares & best after sales service and wide net work of service station through its draler in remote areas also.

I am using this car since almost 3 years. Clocked about 37 000 KM. One good thing about this car is its low cost of maintenance , spare parts. Milege after 3 yrs of using still amazing- i am getting about 18 + with AC on at Highways. This car i have tested upto to 124 KMPH speed on Chennai Bangalore highway. Thouugh it is little bit shaky at high speed it is manageable.
AC is not good. rather very bad.., Pick up reduces drastically when AC is ON. While overtaking we must swithcu OFF. Very less rear seat leg room.
I am planning to up grade to Sedan.., any suggestion from my friends?? I am planning either Indigo CS for better space OR desire for better performace.

Final Words MARUTI NEEDS TO IMPROVE ITS BASE MODELS BY GIVING OUT MORE FEATURES AS IT HAS IN OTHER SEGMENTS LIKE THE RITZ OR A-STAR.
Areas of improvement SAFETY AND SECURITY, INTERIOR{SEATS,CONSOLE} AND IN COMFORT NEEDS MANY LIKE POWER WINDOWS FOR REAR OR THE FRONT FOG LAMPS IN ALL ITS VARIANTS ATLEAST AT THE SAFETY PART all it needs is a strong requirement of features as expectations from maruti are high hope it is clicked as the alto.
