This car is a refreshing change from the other small cars which are just copies of some original models of the respective manufacturers. A Star designed by Indian Engineers is a departure from other small cars in the range. Powered by a 3 cyl. 999 cc engine it has the optimum engine to body weight ratio which is why the fuel economy is achieved. More over other than the Maruti 796 CC engine on 800s, Omnis & Altos this is perhaps the only other 3 cyl. engine with a radically new concept. The bug-eye shaped headlamps may not look attractive to look at, but funtionally they are much better than conventional head-lights. The only draw-back is the cramped leg room for the rear-seat passengers. But given the overall dimensions this may not be possible to enhance any further. The driving experience was good. The car is very comfortable in driving.It is designed to suit the ergonomics. As the car is small in size there is no problems faced while parking the vehicle. Because of the size the vehicle can be droven out easily out of busy roads.

Inspite of being small in size the vehicle is quite spacious. The suspensions are good and the vehicle is smooth in running.

The vehicle appears to be low maintenance vehicle. All utilities of the vehicle are also good and comfortable in use while driving.

All in all it is a goog make and can hold the market nicely.

Good fuel economy.

A good family car for a small family. Very Good outer looking. Having all the security features in A-Star ZXi model, which are only available in a premium range of cars. A true value of money. It is a sport model car and particularly Bright Red and Blue colour is very very attractive in my opinion. It is a most Fuel efficient car in its class, and it will beat all its compititors in near future. However space is little bit short between front and back seats. But availibility of all the latest features in such a low cost is appreciable.

I bought this car in the month of december and really this car has been perfoming at all levels in terms of miliage,comfort driving,reasonable pickup,efficient handling and good road grip and sharp curves.

i also noticed that this car turns many aheads on the roads.people really keep staring for a long time wondering what car is this.people get confused with swift and i10.even before the second servicing i am getting 13kmpl with ac so expecting it will improve with future servicing.so for the above said reasons i think it would be the ideal car for many not only in india but also in other parts of the world where it is expected.

good style,performance and fuel economyless spacious for rear passanger and boot

the best thing about this car i liked its design lines, this car has the sleekest of look truly an urban car......people are concerned about the boot space and interior spaces but before buying eveyone knows its a small car segment so why crib on that....my only contention with Maruti is i just wish Astar had a 1200cc version too but the costing be kept around the current highest model cos at the same rate we can get I10sportz which is 1200CC and has all the features we can ask for. I know compared to the other cars this car has good mileage but a 1200CC wont hurt and we can have a variant choices in this segment. I hope maruti guys hears to this. All in all its a wonderful car & like always Bravo Maruti u guys truly make Indian cars.....like how Maruti800 is known as.This car has everything for a small car segment. The best part is the style its design lines. BravoMore than the spaces i just wish Astar has 1200cc Engine segment

With family of 3 I never had space issue with this car and it can fit luggage for we 3 eaisly. I have drove my car for nearly 2000km and it run very smoothly when ever I drove it. I have even drove it @140kmph speed and never felt that we are driving in such a high speed. ABS works well in such conditions also.

Milage is biggest plus point of this car. Upto now in city conditoins it gave me milage of  17.5 with AC on all the time.

I just want to say that if you are looking for family car then go for something else BUT if you are looking for a high speed in controlled car then this is best option for you in small segment. This definitely is a nice package car with ABS, Airbags, Stereo player with 4 speakers, Power Window, Power Stearing.

fuel economy is supereb n controls are admirable . Having A-star is anice deal.i don't think there is any.

 iam  5-10 and did not find any discomfort though rear leg room is ok, coz front seats can be pulled so that rear leg room is not an issue. but Maruti should provide front power windows and central locking in Lxi as the price is high for the low end Lxi model. finally boot space is too bad. i guess the designers went wrong here.

iam waiting for my new A* Lxi varient as i have chosen sunlight copper color and it is not readily available.so yet to test, check with people who have driven the car for atleast 2500km

 good car but it needs improvement in the boot space and the lxi model badly need front power windows and central locking

 all parts was very good.engine noice is very low. in cities the milage is around 12 to 13 in highways 15 to 16.

 my top speed in this car is 150 nice to drive.steering is in control. while driving in 150km speed there is no vibrations

Final Words

 in 7months i crossed more than 14500kms the performance is very good in highways the milage is more than 15 in the average speed of 100 to 120. you can purchase this car. price is economical and the features are high.

Areas of improvement  

 rear seat legs space is short. boot space is also short.
