Definitely this is not a Extreme Utility Vehicle, if you think so and drive in different terrains, you will end up in turbo and engine failures.
Service is worst, earlier even i din knew and was very happy for the vehicle but later i came to know the worst part of it. I had been to Varkala(kerala) and after that i gave it for service thinking its a coastal region. They haven't done anything and after a month it ended up in turbo failure and the reason is sand and mud enters to engine through air filters. I have never heard of sand and mud entering into engine through air filters, please think of such a beautiful design in such a huge machine. You will end up in spending lakhs for the repair though your car is 7/8 months old.
Don believe advertisements at all, none of the parts inside XUV which they use for racing is the one which they give to customer.
NOTE:
Sand enters into engine through airfilter in XUV is confirmed by Mahindra engineer, you can post an email for more details before buying an XUV.
Don't end up in a situation like me after paying 21 lakhs
