महिंद्रा xuv500 [2015-2018] यूज़र रिव्यूज़

Love to travel? XUV 500 is the answer. I have owned the XUV 500 since 2014 & have driven it for more than 50000 kms. After a short test drive I was convinced that the drive was very relaxed & this one was a mile muncher.I purchased the W6 variant in dolphin grey colour & since then X is my companion for trips.I have been to my native land Kutch many times.It has also taken me & my family to Shegaon,silvassa,pune,mumbai,chalisgaon & many other places in a very comfortable manner. No issues to talk of till date.It is super reliable & I have not even suffered a puncture. If I would buy my next vehicle it will be certainly be a XUV. Why one star less? It rattles & squeaks which is taken care by the efficient dealer Bhavin Wheels,Nasik but it does.

Exterior It looks very like a urban suv. beautiful and muscular design. very attractive.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) When you get into the cabin of xuv, you will feel like you are no sitting in suv which is cost overt 20 lacs. Fit and finish is cheap. Plastic quality is just okay, not acceptable for car of price of this. Seat are comfortable, but ride quality is not good compared to other rivals like CRYSTA,HEXA and COMPASS. You can feel bumps on bad roads. But its safe car too.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance is awesome. but other rivals offers more power and they performs excellent.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is good but poor ride quality. you can be tortured on bad road in this SUV.

Final Words It was value for money product,but at present it is not a value for money.  GO FOR INNOVA CRYSTA, TATA HEXA, JEEP COMPASS.

Areas of improvement INTERIORS, CABIN NOISE, SUSPENSION, RIDE QUALITY, FIT AND FINSH, AND BUILD QUALITY.

Steering response, attractive features, performanceInterior's fit and finish, rear AC vents, build quality, cabin noise, third row seat, ride quality

Final Words Dont buy Mahindra.

Areas of improvement Very poor service. The service center especially at Sector 64, Noida does not care about the customers. It will ultimately lead to the downfall of Mahindra. Supervisors are careless, Service manager has no interest. Customer is left high and dry. For the same problem you will need to go a few times. NO respect for the time of customer. Even if one likes the vehicle a little bit, it get diluted by the service they provide. Mahindra automotive shoul find a way to control. Mahindra website also has no option where one can bring a complaint to the company. It seem they dont care as well and the customer is left to the mercy of the dealers. Finally it is Mahindra who will suffer, as they will loose the market share. Mr. Mahindra should know that there are enough options for the customer.

I was not a big car user being a lady but its first look killed me as i entered the showroom. I didnt asked for its feature or a test drive rather i booked its automatic w10 version in just 5 minutes. We had a couple of long tours in about 4 months with my family and the result was fabulous as we never had to compromise anything because of the car. I dont know much about my driving experience but according to my husband its a crazy powerful utility vehicle. He just loves it.

XUV500 is an ideal option for car lovers who wants to experience a big SUV without digging too deep in their pockets...Provide ample of interior space for 5 seaters (last row seats are little cramped up)...Interior Plastic quality could have been better and the steering mounted buttons needs an improvement...Mileage is average and fine tuning is required...Overall a good package in this price bracket (as compared to peers)

I bought this car in 2015 & still driving. My driving experience is ultimate with this. It gives very high performance on highway & long trips. Its really made for long rides. But in traffic I get some probs with changing in gears. Sometimes it jerks in 2-3 gear in traffic. I like it’s control on high speed . Its maintenance is not so high. Overall it’s a good ??

Pros: On-time delivery, love riding my cheetah & it's a pride on the road, off-roading performance is satisfactory , exterior looks attracts to take a look at it .. Maintenance is affordable and it's all upto the dealers ... Pros: value for money Cons: interior plastic quality to be improved to make the cheetah more premium.. Verdict: go for luxury cheetah at an affordable value.....

Exterior Cheetah inspired design has a class of its own. Front is beautiful and edgy. Has a brilliant presence.  

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The equipment, space and utility is good. At some places, they could have used slightly better quality plastic. Almost all features are there. Electrical adjustment of driver seat is the only one in its class. Sun roof is fabulous. Leather seats, stearing etc are great.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance, noise levels, fuel economy and gear box, all are good.

Ride Quality & Handling Easy and smooth. Slight feedback of pot holes on the stearing wheel.

Final Words Just go for it. You will enjoy..

Areas of improvement Plastics at some places. I rate it very high on value for money option. There is a feeling of pride when you drive it on the road and family members really enjoy the ride, even in the city traffic. On highways, its performance is even better.
