In terms of safety it gets dual airbags, all wheel disc brake, abs with ebd, child seat anchors, ESP and hill launch assist. The W8(O) gets the addition of 5 more airbags, a sunroof, heating wing mirrors, diamond cut alloys, a tire pressure monitoring system, front parking sensor and leatherette upholstery.
