Final Words Basically it is not a new car it is a chopped version of verito .so it's price is little bit about 7% cut from the verito models and else every thing is same. the feel and driving experience in the vibe will be same is as verito which is very good in long run and in highways, comfortable and stable on breaking and speed not so much speed like 130-140 but on 80-110 this car will perform good stability and breaking as verito does.but the question is for a very little margin from verito sedan who will left the gace of sedan . the people who have less pace in the garadge or parking in house can opt vibe othe wise no need to go for vibe for the margin of less than 50k. if the company reduce the cost much less then the quality of the patrs and body will dicrease as maruti doing these time . over all is good car but on the service point of view the manindra service for verito car is very poor and spare parts are very very costly and not available easily . the reason is that Mahindra have lot of vehicles in the pipe line . they never take verito seriously on service point of view as they took XUV500.

At first look itself we booked the car at MPL Automobiles, Chennai, Actually we are suppose to go to Ford figo show room for test ride. Just one day before this is Vertio Vibe launched, I browsed some sites out this and had a plan with family members to visit Mahindra show room and then go to Ford Show room for test ride, when we just reached Mahindra show room, we saw Demo Vibe Car outside by the look only we were impressed with the design, I hope very good design from Mahindra after Scorpio.
When we entered show room, as this being a launch date of Vertio Vibe, show room is fully decorated. We find good gesture of the staff of MPL automobiles futures of car has been explained and went of a test ride.
Entire family members ( our family size is 4 No,) went for test ride. Let me tell about myself I am 6.1 feet tall with average built body. Two son’s already they are 5.1 feet tall and my wife 5.5 feet tall. We and sales person went for test ride.
Coming to comfort, very good comfort for my height and built, and very very good room space, My wife and children sitting at the back, even they felt the same. I stopped the car got of my driver seat and went back to check the rear space without moving the driver seat. It is very comfortable, front driver seat is not touching legs at all.
Coming to Interiors: Dash board dual color good looking, quality I won’t say very good but not bad, it is average. Even mid range variant comes with power windows and central locking. It as collapsible steering but not title steering. Comes with 330l boot space.
I feel ergonomics well maintained, very good view from the driver seat.
Finally I booked the vehicle on 8th June and got delivery on 18th June. I am writing this review after running the car for one month and for about 1400 km. I got a mileage of 16km/l with AC On in city, AC very good, there is not turbo lag in the engine, as this comes with Renaults Diesel engine. And other things it is same as Verito.
Still to go no high way, once this is done I will update.

Let me first clarify that this review is based only on test drive,it could be seen as initial impressions.
Exterior I dont have problems with the looks of this car. I like to be different most of the time and this car does look different. There is a lot written about its boxy looks but I find the rear of this car resembling to an SUV. Front looks more or less like new Verito, it does look like a sedan from front. Look may not be head turner for most but still less road presence of this car creates attraction for bypassers.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is simple and not very plush. I like the dash board for being less cluttered and not too many buttons, knobs, screens etc on it. Carbon fibre looks nice but it could have been applied on to steering and on the interior sides of the doors. Space is great, best in class, no doubt about it. When you are inside either on driving seat or as passanger you feel as you are sitting in a Sedan. Comfort in the back seat is great, and I would give it a preference for the sake of my family. Seat material could have been littel better and upholstry could be more premium. I read few reviews and it was mentioned that the central console for music system and AC etc was little lower and driver has to remove the eyes from road to operate it, however I didnt feel so. Consol is easily accessible.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performed as described in most reviews. Turbolag was negligible. Gear shift was smooth. My 20 Kms drive was not enough to judge fuel economy so I would not pass any comment on it. But engine didnt feel underpowered. Clutch is very light and before one removes foot from accelator pedal, as soon as left foot touches clutch it gets into action and that causes vibration in clutch pedal and awkward sound. NVH levels are OK not troublesome.
Ride Quality & Handling My height is average but I had a 6ft tall friend to accompany me while driving the car and my 5yrs old daughter. I crossed 80 Km/h once and touched 100 Km/h during test drive and either me or others sitting inside didnt feel that car was cruising at 100 Km speed. Car seems very heavy and hence car felt very stable on road. I would rate ride quality very premium with this car. It infuses a lot of confidence while driving. I didnt feel steering very heavy, it was heavier than most of the cars which I drove (mostly alto K10, Accent). But still it was possible to drive with one hand in most conditions. Turning radius of this car is bigger than any car in this class and that is a matter of concern in congested places. I did deliberately drive on totally hopeless road, in a stretch of 1 Km there was hardly any road left and we passed through it with ease and very less bumpy feel inside and that showed suspensions are good and heavy body of car doesnt rebounce much to give jerks to the passangers.
Final Words As I said it was a test ride and it did impress me. I am planning to get this one in Deewali time.
The thing I didnt like is, no offer of any extra goodies and discount either from manufacturer or dealer on this car. I dont know why Mahindra is not keen to push this car's sales. But they are definitely not aggressive in marketing and nor in pricing policy. Otherwise this car is awesome. For me its a Sedan in hatch's look, and that is what appeals me. Good driving & handling, engine performance, great suspensions are major plus points of this car.
Areas of improvement Safety (air-bag), more luxury features on dash board, height adjustments of seat and tilt steering could add to its appel.

Rear design is the only eye catching area. Bold look and compact with large boot.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Not so attractive, but acceptable considering other pros.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Excellent, not very noisy and pick-up of car is as good as swift.
Fuel economy: I have driven 1300KM till date and recived average milage of 22KM/L in city and maximum 25km/L on higway with A/C. It is unbelievable but it is true. You can test it yourself or can verify from other users.
Ride Quality & Handling
Super, no issues
Final Words
Real value for money car. Ample space with good milage which every indian looks for. High ground clearence made for indian roads. Low maintenance for frequent travellers. Very tough competitor for Swift and Vista for sure.
Areas of improvement
D4 is second variant of car, but it does not include music system and central locking. This must be included as far as price is concerned.
Interiors should have been given stylish seat cover and more carving is expected on dashboard design.

Exterior Very gook look especially from rear. I have purchased in Sept 13 and driven for about 2000 km. I was amashed when most people admired the car looks. Almost everyone I admired it upfront. While on Verito Vide compels people to glance it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is very spacious and same as logan. Interior is average compare to other similar new models of Volswagan, Hyundai and Maruti. Mahindra should have given the arms rests. The space for holding water bottle is small i.e. 1 liter bottle does not fit in. No steering wheel mounted features, Mahindra should have given it. The seats are low and mahindra should work on increasing the height of the vehcile and once this is corrected the Vide would be super hit, in my view.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The performance is good. But initial power punch is lacking. However once it rolls on at speed above 50 the riding quality improves a lot.
Ride Quality & Handling Vibe is very good city car. Handling is super that to in Mumbai traffic.
Final Words Very good value for money car with very good looks, lot of space and 1.5 liter engine at reasonable cost. Go for it.
Areas of improvement To improve on pick up power and height of the vechicle.

This verito's new model has a lot of + as well as - points, everybody firstly get impressed with the looks and which this car doesnt offers you as the modern pattern of cars. Taking up with interiors, the quality of interior is average and is similar to their old vehicle verito which is not been a impressive one in the automobile industry.The + point is engine in which it delivers a fantastic mileage of 20-21 kmpl, whereas the power disappoints you with 65ps which is nothing in this entrylevel segment, even indigo is getting 70, swift dzire has 75 and amaze powers 100ps. Talking seats and cussioning this car is very comfortable, for safety it gets 1 airbag and ABS,EBD. the features it should have is driver ajustable height seat, Auto climate control. As taking all the points in mind I would surely and happily give it a total of 3.5 stars out of 5.0 stars
Drive it and take your decision for buying or not bcoz everyone's thinking is different about a particular object.
