Want Suv Height +7 Seater Under 15k? Then, This Is For You

I bought it in jan 2016. It was priced at 15L for s10. But now it comes at around 17L on road. At this price point xuv could be better option especially after gst effect.

The good:

1. No. 1 is the engine. The power and torque is adequate in all the gears. but now the competition is wider hence, its time to upgrade or retune it. I wish it will come with a 6 speed gearbox in the next version.

2. HVAC. The s10 comes with auto a/c that works pretty well in hot climatic conditions.

3.The general maintenance costs is less.

The average: (Area that needs improvement).

1. Ride and handling. The suspension setup is average. The car bounce and Shakes alot while passing over speed breakers and broken roads. But the ride isn't uncomfortable at all the times. The stock Bridgestone tyres offer adequate grip in city as well as in highways.

2. Brakes. The car does stop at high speeds when braking . But doesn't give confidence in all the situation. For the price tag i would expect all wheel discs.

3. The car may look bigger on the outside. On the inside its a different story. The leg room is adequate enough but,feels average in the competition. But the seats are wide enough and offers good under thigh support for an average size person that makes long journeys comfortable.

The poor:

1. No organized storage spaces.

2. Safety rating. 2 airbags and abs are required as minimum safety features in these days. The scorpio offers the same from s4 model. But no crash tests were conducted with the airbag version which becomes questionable in safety aspects.

3. Cheap built remote key that only works within 10 to 12 feet distance. This quality is not supposed to be on a 15L car.

4. ICE setup. The touch screen head unit is of above average quality. The screen isn't readable in bright day light. The stock speakers were poor.

5. Paint quality. Who can buy the scorpio ? Ans: if you want a 7 seater in SUV body with minimum safety feature at a price of 12-15L, the scorpio is the car for you.
