      Had test-driven the petrol CVT version. The exterior looks and the interior quality is definitely worth talking about! Great looks, sleek yet bold. Interiors are up there with the likes of expensive cars. But alas that's all the good I can say. I had a lot expectations from Kia on this but turned out to a be a big disappointment. The 1.5 engine mated to the CVT gearbox is not fun to drive at all. Doesn't justify the steep pricing as well. Extremely underpowered. Haven't driven the version with the DCT. Suspension on low speeds are ok but the higher you go, you can feel the bumps in the car. Not sure of it's SUV capacity, but I am not sure it may live up to enthusiasts. Ingress and egress was surprisingly not good in my experience, I am 6'2 for reference. Not very good first impressions.

      Not value of your money. Not strong. Showing outside only moderate. Engine is very poor. Breaking issues. Head light very this. Less ground clearance. Be careful buying before.

      Kia provides cheap low quality and non reliable Good tyres to top end variants. 3500 kms running, puncture due to a small nail , damages the Goodyear tyre. Kia is only focused on making money by fitting substandard accessories and parts to its car.

    • How I experience about kia seltos

      1. Now this time I am working in NHAI (National highways authority of India ) as deputy manager. My work is always a field job, I travel most of the day for 50-100 km for work. I bought this car to travel with them as it is very comfortable and easy to drive. It gives better feeling to other car because I have been changed 3-4 cars during this job. This car is most valuable for me and I always care for my car and they give me comfortable and nice feeling.. 2. Driving experience is very good. Apart from that I have driven 3-4 cars but this car gave better feeling compared to other cars. 3. Looks are very nice and beautiful. If you go for very long distance they look very awesome. Performance is always good because I drive for most of the day 4. Servicing and maintenance is always necessary for any car. If you have time for servicing and maintenance they gave better feeling and they will work for a very long time.. 5. Pros- my point of view they always help me and very nice to drive. Cons- Nil

      Ever since its launch it looked awesome, we went to one the the showrooms and booked the same, after much of a harrowing experience in terms of delay in delivery and pressurising us to buy a color different than what we booked, we finally bought the car. As a car it's awesome I have a HTK+ and it's actually a very value for money option in the tech line. Overall performance is pretty decent, it gives us an average which i checked tank on tank of 14.5kmpl, and we are yet to take it for a 2nd service. The service center is awesome, very helpful staff much more reliable than the Sales staff. Pros: Value for money Best in class mileage Very spacious seating Cons: Front headlamps of HTK+ is not very good and has yellow light and doesn't even match with the Led DRLs Boot looks spacious but is very small and boxy. Sound system is not Bose as the have publicized it to be, Bose is available only in topline HTX+ and GTX+ Sound system is not very well tuned aswell and at Max volume also, it doesn't give a good sound effect.

      Riding experience is good but yes there is a slight lag when you try to push at lower revs. I have bought in Dec 2019 so that time there was no sunroof. I feel sunroof and atleast 4 airbag should be part of this variant. Now Kia should provide have an option for sunroof as an accessory. In Bangalore B2B traffic I get 9-10 kmpl and in lock down 13-14 kmpl mileage.
