VERNA IS NOT A VERNA ANYMORE :(

The day i got to know about the new gen verna i got my eyes on it and waiting for it to get launched the first and initial experience was good the driving pleasure is nice but not best looks are great design is nice performance is super as always but the built quality is not good plastics of the dash makes noise on the bad road surfaces as it kneads against each other after a few thousand kilometres the front suspension starts making some noise worst is the fuel economy in the diesel automatic servicing is done after 10000kms or a year whichever occurs early maintenance is not much expensive and is pretty descent gives you a total peace of mind. This is the second time i purchased verna and the older model was really a great car and i loved it very much but the current model (2018) is not up to the mark and not as good as compared to the older model there are both prospects and consequences in the new one which are listed below. PROSPECTS •good design/looks (exterior) •nice infotainment system •apt ground clearance •space for storing things is good •interiors are sophisticated and not cluttered •rear windscreen sunblind •storage space for sunglass •one touch cabin lights •good looking steering wheel •performance •phone charging sockets CONSEQUENCES •rear row seating space (head&leg room) both •fuel economy is bad •head lights brightness is dim •dashboard plastic quality is bad •suspension quality is not good (front) •rear brakes (drums) •spare wheel is steel not alloy •front passenger leg room due to the design of dash •very noisy diesel engine
