Lower ground clearance, low mileage pathetic service after sales even after complaints no proper response from the company regarding mileage, interior space is very low service cost and especially the services over kanhangad and Kasargod is extremely laggy and unacceptable service Just by salesman pitch don't fall for it.

I owned this car since 2019.. I driven 70000kms Car is simply superb... It's pick up and steering control and speed is next level...its easily catches to speed 160 and very comfortable ride.. Car looks very stylish and while coming to service and maintenance the cost of service is reasonable... Pros:car performance, looks, ventilated seats Cons:car brakes very poor u will feel panic it will not Stop when u suddenly apply break several times i rise the complaint but same thing repeated u will find this in every verna..while applying break suddenly pedal is strucking and make some sound in panic situations it will not stop

The Diesel version of Hyundai Verna has a perennial problem with the clutch hardness which impacts your gear box and clutch plates replacements. Pathetic experience with service dealers and Hyundai own CC. you only get copy paste answers. Due to hardness of clutch and while driving through the traffic you develop knee pains.

Buying experience: I do a lot of research before buying this car.tough competition is between Verna & city.but after visiting lots of reviews I went for Verna.very good car,value for money.car is very robust . quality of materials used is very good.value for ??.

Buy new diesel automatic, hands free charger found faulty in new vehicle, but there is no support from service dealers since 4 months. Engine sound is very much irritating like tractors and service guys said this is the standard sound. Worst service of Hyundai.

My friend bought a hyundai verna sx(o) diesel, that is the top varient in diesel manual. It was last December he purchased this vehicle. We carpool daily on alternating turns. i have driven it plenty of times. we also went to trips in it couple of times. Here's my review of Verna diesel in detail. PROS: 1. At first glance, the interior is perfectly designed. not on any point i noticed any flaw, loose fittings or cheap quality materials anywhere (except hard plastics but that's not an issue). 2. comfort is just at par. seats holds you very nice and tight and offer great support. 3. infotainment system is very smooth to use. 4. gear shifts are slick and acceleration is quite good. 5. 6 airbags and good build make it safe ride for you. 6. feature loaded sedan. CONS: 1. Space. it is definitely an issue with this car. rear passenger leg room is very poor. in this price point rivals offer almost double leg space. head room could also be better. 2. no shoulder room either. 3 people sitting at the back is a dream in this vehicle. 3. Mileage. being a diesel motor it is expected to be fuel efficient. company claims it to give a mileage of 24kmpl. rather we would be happy at 20 or atleast 19. but it returns a mileage of 15-16 kmpl. even my xuv500 returns mileage of 16-17. Drivings on the highways for the major. So if you are planing to buy, here's an advice. if you have a small family like of 2 or 3, it would make a great choice, keeping cost of driving factor aside. it loads with features and other stuff but certainly lacks in space. if you have family of 4 or 5, i personally think rivals such as ciaz or city would be better choice. I bought it in September 2017. I have driven it 35000 kms till now. I use it regularly in the city as well as for highway drives. It gives around 14-15 kmpl mileage in city with AC and 18-20 kmpl on highway. I have driven it at the maximum speed of 200 kmph on the highway and it was a butter drive. Smooth and great. I love it looks. It looks little similar as BMW GT. I have a great experience with it's servicing centres and I have maintained it well as I use it all the time.
