Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Worst, worst and the worst. It's been only 3 months i got a new brand car and my car is there at their showroom since the very day. The gear gets locked anytime and you can meet with an accident anytime as i could get. I sent my new brand car to the company four times for the repair. I mean a new brand car is such like. They got two cylinders which were not working and 1 spring in clutch that was dead, So now you can imagine the conditon of car. And now the company is not at all serious regarding this. Right now they are ignoring my complain but now i am going to file a case to consumer court. I mean just imagine a brand new car is at the company since the first day. and even do let me disclose the fact of their delivery, they assure for 3 months like they did with me but i got after 6 months and 7 days. I have always been a Toyota fan but this time i tried to change it but Toyota is Toyota. No doubt.
Ride Quality & Handling Worst worst and the worst.
Final Words I am not supposed to put any thing more i'll just file the case now.

Exterior The New Verna Fluidic is definitely an eye catcher! The day it was displayed in the showroom I had an opportunity to see it, as showroom happens to be very close to my home. I was impressed by it looks , The 16 inch Radials , Headlamps and the sleek design across the body on the sides are really very cool and clubbed with two exhaust's which gives a very sporty look . The looks will tempt you to get inside the car. I rate it 5 with out any doubt in my mind.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I found the interiors to be well designed and more contemporary, fluidic has got good quality plastic all over and you can see that with the perfect finish across the interiors. the car which I am using right now ( Manza Elan ) has got all the latest gizmos like blue and me , Steering mounted audio etc however I see that in fluidic it shows what is quality all about. The front seating is comfortable however one needs to lean a bit more to get inside the car (Ingress n Regress). I felt comfortable sitting in the drivers seat; while i took the test drive , however felt that seat could have been a bit higher , then the sales guy explained me that one can raise the height of the driver seat , which I did but not much improvement but better than before ( I am 5.9 ) , May be because I got used to Manza seating comfort :). Space is adequate for 5 people however rear seats encourage only two people to sit. Rear seat is a way too low however its comfy and one can lean back to a comfortable position, My guess.. It may trouble you in long drives!. I rate it 3 because of poor rear seats and Driver seat height adjustments which are very crucial in any car. (When expectations increases by its exterior looks one needs to match accordingly with interiors too).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I drove a 1.6 L Diesel Engine for Test drive. As soon as I held the steering wheel I said to myself wow , its very sensitive and should be great to drive in the city , Its really matched and exceeded my expectations. It took apx 10secs for me to get adjusted to the steering as it was very light and responsive. The pickup is good and does not give you any jerk when you accelerate further . It was smooth sailing , however when i touched 120+ I was not confident enough to accelerate further because i felt i may lose control on the vehicle as the steering was too sensitive but the car had the power and willingness to go further. Very less turbo lag, i would say negligible when I compared my existing car. I bet you guys city driving would be a pleasure and one can manure the car at their will and wish, you will not be tired at all and on the other hand it will be a pleasure driving in the city. Fuel economy i cannot comment because i haven’t checked it , but company claims apx 22kmpl for 1.6 L Engine and one can use the sixth gear for maximum fuel efficiency. Gear box is very smooth and you will like it. I rated it 4 because for its one of the best and powerful engines 1.6 L , minimal turbo lag and for the BHP apx 125.
Ride Quality & Handling I would say ride quality in the city will be excellent and it is and handling too on par . The questions arises only when you want to get on to the National Highway and want to cruze. The car has the power and the zeal to take you to the your desired destination with panache however I doubt if the person behind the wheels will have it or not because of its sensitive steering and bouncy rear ( As suspension is very soft ) while driving on high speed. I personally feel, once we get used it it everything will fall in place. Its only a matter of time. I rated 3 because of the less confidence it gives me on high speeds. Linea has much much better road grip and ride quality and handling. The question is how often do i go on long drives at above 120+???
Final Words A car which will not meet your expectations but will exceed your expectations with sheer looks, practicality, driving comfort ( city ) and features it comes along with the car . As my caption says its Owners pride n Neighbours envy stands true for this car.
Areas of improvement
1. Very sensitive Steering.
2. Rear Seats too low and not so comfy for long drives and expects only two people to sit at the rear as it has a hump in the middle.
3. Rear Veiw will be blocked if you have three occupants in the rear seat.
4. I booked this car :) :) :) , One thing reminds me is that nothing is perfect in this world.

Exterior Its simply superb. The aerodynamic looks from the side and the stylish view from the back of the car are simply unbeatable.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The front seats and the leg room is sufficient enough to make a person with height of 6.2 drive or sit in the car with ease. The air conditioner and the auto climate control are really good. The A.C. is really powerful enough that it can make the car cool within 3-4 minutes even in summer (i haven't experienced it though, but saying this on experience). The strearing is really really soft and gives better control at high speed. However, its grip could be a little slippery as the stearing is very much finished. The stearing mounted controls are also better specifically with the in-built bluetooth controls. The controls on the door are suffiecient with all functions available in the luxury cars. One area of imrpovement could be to solve the mismatch of the colour of Dashboard and the car interior with one having grey colour and other with Jute. Overall nice interiors.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Justifying what I have said in the title, a car for people travelling on highways...have your feet on the accelarator and take the car on the highway. I guess there would be hardly any moment where you need to push the car to overtake any other vehicle. The riding is so smooth that you never come to feel that the car has actually touched the speed limit set by the government for indian roads with one gear still in your bucket. 😉 However, if one take a look of the same thing from the other mirror, it is the biggest issue with this car that it has a 6+1 gearbox. I have Verna CRDi 1.6 done with about 500+ KMs in couple of months but I harldy got a few instances where I can drive the car on Top Gear. Going into a little dip, it takes about 80+ KMPH of speed to enter the car into 6th gear. Considering the roads in our contries and traffic in cities like Metros where there is highest client base of such cars, the 6th Gear of the car is the actual "Villion". It can spoil the mood of speed and fuel economy both sometimes.
Ride Quality & Handling Well a car with the highest pick up, proper balance, effective braking and smoothest handling is a difficult combination to find. The default speed of first two gears is a little high, but one gets addicted to it in couple of drives. I would just say a single liner here to explain this. Have a test drive of the car and experience it. Noone can change your mind after it.
Final Words Simple the best in the segment. If you find even some room to get out of the queue of waitinglist for this, grab the opportunity and purchase it. Let the other company's new models/variants come to the market, someone will hardly beat it in terms of driving pleasure. Fuel ecoomy is simply the great (I wont use the greatest, since verna is car to enjoy driving, not a car to save your money). Till now I am getting 16 on city road and 18-20 on Highways.

Exterior Fluidic verna has made it the best on this segment, honda city is nothin in frnt of this vehicle.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is nice, gear positioning nice, steering controls attracted me much, bluetooth connectivity butoon, spaceous and comfortable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Power is just like a 2 litre engine, 0 to 100 is with in 9 seconds. 140 is a very stable and comfortble speed in indian roads.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality n handling is pakka perfect for this vehicle, superb feeln v r geting and nice riding position.
Final Words Super vehicle for this cost f price, Hyundai had done wel to make the fluidic verna a big success!! I liked its power and comfortable handling. you know this vehicle has a very nice driver seat. sitting on that feels we are the king. abs and airbags add to its safety.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gearbox quiet sabby at times esceipally 1st gear shifting. Too early to comment on fuel economy as car damaged in 1st srrvicing itself.
Ride Quality & Handling Quiet good for long drives as well as city drive.
Final Words Took car from KTC,Thrissur on 21st July 2012 & on 29th July 2012 given for 1st servicing. During servicing,car was heavily damaged. One week past, still no news when car will be ready. So if anyone planning to buy, my sincere advise give car for servicing with extreme caution.
Areas of improvement Needs improvement in servicing area. Getting a brand new car damaged during servicing that to inside workshop area nothing but big joke on part of dealer. Hyundai needs to make sure service personal who there are employing understands basic difference between brake & acceralator.

Exterior Ok. Hundai Is making fool to Indian customers, this model outside India is know to be Hundai accent. But here in Indian it's Fludic. Why this companies are cheating Indian customers. They are coming-up with such an engine which is not tested properly. Which gives problem in acclerator and according to hundai local sales office this is a mfg-problem. Though hundai people manages to catch the eyes of the customers , but they forget about the road conditions in Indian. The car is designed for buyers who can afford 10,00,000.00 , whihc is now is a manageable amount for most of the car buyers in rural India. Hundai people should learn some thing from the Maruti people how to handle customers in rural India. As most of the customers are based not in metro's but in rural part. There are lot's of technical problem being faced by the new fludic verna.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is not a focused thing for hundai people. Comfort wise most of the Indian's are good in hight (Tall) and but while seating inside the car you will fell like falling low. This is not being acceptable thing for the old aged person's. Not all the buyers are with-in an age of 30-40, so Hundai shuold think many times before coming up with such cars. This is where experience matters and most of the things are being well taken care for Indian customers by Maruti.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is still the best with Maruti Dezire and new SX4.
Ride Quality & Handling Mostly they tried to manage the engine noise but still there is some with a good road noise. Maintenance cost is big time high while compairing to Maruti Dezire and new SX4.
Final Words Hundai is make customers fool. While Maruti is taking customers wants in priority.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Smooth drive. Fuel economy way lower - Am getting 11.5km/l in 1.6 CRDI Diesel with AC on.Way lower than claimed and also lower than the mileage achieved in Vento or SX4.
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth ride though a bit bouncy at times due to the soft suspension, Some amount of body roll in case of handling especially during tight corners.
Final Words Good buy but beware of Hyundai Motor Plaza(HMP), Lower Parel, Mumbai. They are absolutely unprofessional and suck on the customer service front. I was promised delivery on 30th Sep but finally delivery happened on 7th Oct. And the manager Santosh Kumar is the epitome of unprofessionalism and believes in making customers beg. Inspite of me requesting him for delivery on the committed date, he refused and even had the gall to tell me, "Escalate it to whomever you want. I dont care." I was told that this is a company owned outlet. God help customers if this is the attitude and concept of service in a company owned outlet.
Areas of improvement Customer service sucks. If they dont improve on it, what's the point of having a great product. Hope other dealers besides Hyundai Motor Plaza are better.
