      Exterior Well this car has the most talked about exteriors, the styling is really an eye catcher. theres nothing bad to speak of the styling, except the bumpers which i think could have been better quality. 

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The cabin was the biggest thing that gripped my heart, very airy uncluttered sufficient leg room both in front as well as the rear, the cabin is well insulated from engine noise as well as a considerably good amount of external noises. However the seats in the beginning my lower back used to pain but now its no more. The ac is a mighty chiller, but of late during noons for me it has been a bit low then expected.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This 1.6l petrol engine is a beast, very smooth and silent, has good pick up, and pulls like a monster from 4500rpms right till the red line, the engine not at mid range to high revs makes you feel like it wants to be pushed further. Fuel economy hasnt been great was at 10km/l highways till I changed my oil at 5000kms and now I get 15km/l while on highways and 9-10km/l while in cities. the gear box and shift is smooth as butter, the clutch is pretty light which makes your leg feel less discomfort while driving through stop and go traffic.

      Ride Quality & Handling The car is great while driving around in the city absorbs all irregularities and gives you a comfortable ride, but while going at higher speeds it tends to get bouncy and a few times the rear passengers may complain. The front suspension makes a thud noise if you pass a speed breaker or potholes a 30+ speeds and at times you get a jerk on the steering wheel. Handling of the car is ok not something which is very bad nor very good. You may find some slight body roll if you corner at speeds or take a curve.

      Final Words The car is a great car, but the suspension bottle necks you from using the engines potential. It would have been great if hyundai woulde have provided us hid projector setup as an option.

      Areas of improvement After sales service seem like they do not know much, the suspension needs to stiffened or upgraded, and qualoty of the bumpers which break at the slightest impacts should be improved.

      You know you got emotionally attach to things, i got attached to this car i mean i didn't let my parents sell this car because it it THE BEST out there. When we got this car i thought okay good but then i started driving and believe me it is the best best looking car inside out. Both engine and safety are the best also performance omg the best available in this segment you can't find any better no cons just pros

      I had been driving a beat-up Daewoo Matiz for far too long, and was becoming an embarrassment to my family and community.

      WIth high aspirations and a limited budget, I narrowed down on 4 cars : The Indigo XL, City, Verna and Accent.

       The Indigo XL was light on the pocket and was fully loaded and had huge legroom (it was a small walk from the back seat to the front). 100% paisa-vasool for my middle class mentality. Until the test drive. I dont ever plan to be taking part in Silverstone or Sepang or Monaco, but, at some point of time after I have pressed the accelerator , I do expect the car that I am driving to  start to move .  And the clearance was also just borderline.

      The City was good looking . I was repeatedly told it had great re-sale value. The interiors were good. The drive was pretty good. Now re-sale value comes into the picture if you can buy it first. It was a bit at the high end of my budget.

      Last stop was Trident Hyundai Motors. The Accent was what I had my mind on, as it looked reasonably okay and the price was in Indigo XL territory. At the showroom, I happened to see the Verna and it looked better than the City from the side and front.  I did not even test drive the Accent. Just went for the Verna i.  About Rs 7.2 lakhs on-road was cheaper than the City and the other Verna variants (whose extra features were not , in my opinion worth it). And the finish too was far ahead of the Indigo XL. And even the Accent.

      The Verna Test drive -5 minutes convinced me it had good interiors, a great road view, and an engine that seemed to be even faster to respond than the City.

      The experience with the Verna after I have bought it (10 days) has been very good. Some niggles that I would look for avoiding in my next car are  (1) At low speeds, especially with the AC on, the engine stalls. It panicked me the first time. It has happened thrice to me. (2)  There seems to be blind spot while driving  because of the column on the driver side. It  takes some time getting used to, especially when turning right. (3) The rear view mirror is far to small.

      The pick-up remains the #1 plus point for me. Smooth engine performance and pretty decent braking performance. Luggage space is large enough with the rear seat too being capable of being folded.

      I think I am getting around 12 km/liter in light city driving with AC on.Great pick-up, road view, clearanceLow speed stalling, a blind spot

      Exterior Ultimate exteriors, no match in this category.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice but as per the age npw are little old.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very very GOOD.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling With ABS it is ultimate.

       

      Final Words Good buy, GO for it.

       

      Areas of improvement Nothing as concept RB is coming to india next year 2011, sear ch concept RB on the net you will find new VERNA. Buy this VERNA also, it is very very good and will not disappoint in anyway, Excellent buy. Power is very good, it is like a cockpit of areoplane, new interiors LED are very good, you will not need any extra light also in the car. it best and has more space than Vento, altis and civic also. Buy this car only if your looking something in this segment. no areas of improvement required as the new VERNA will be all too GOOD.

       

      Good on milage and good value for money alsoOnly 4 alloy wheel and exrta tyre is of RIM also

      I bought the 1.6VTVT petrol 2 weeks back and my views are as below.

      Exterior Everyone knows that this is a beautiful looking car, atleast for now since there are not many around. The overall physical dynamics are totally futuristic with propotional length, width and height. The styling is way far better than any of the other cars in this segment.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) One of the best interiors ever seen in any of the modern cars in this segment and even in the higher ones. Gives you the feel of a 12-15lac car at just under 10lac. The features are non comparable with any of the cars and it has everything. You name it its here. You dont feel anything has been left out. I hate hond city for not giving a simple climate control which is a standard for this segment. Seats are comfortable but nothing great about them. Headroom maybe less for some due to the fluidic styling but it is sufficient for almost all. Its totally eye candy with fine detailing everywhere.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As smooth as a butter, you dont even come to know when the engine is idling. It is smooth in all gears and you only hear the sweet gowl of the engine after 3k rpm which is also plesent to the ears. The fuel average as of my new car at just 300 odd kms is 9.5 in the city with starts and stops, but on a free way it shows 14 kmpl. The gearbox is smooth and precise, but sometimes I mistakenly put it in 3rd gear instead of 1st, I will get over it in sometime. 

      Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is soft which is good for city conditions and is not bad as other people suggest. It feels luxurious to have a soft suspension. Cornering is also not bad as some people complaint. The steering is light and good, it gives you the feel of driving in a videogame. I found it a bit smaller in diameter than other cars. Which is why you need to get used to it for precision handling. But I got used to it in just a few days. Back seats are just about ok, due to the low seating. Center seat has a very hard back due to the the rear center armrest. Its a 4 peoples car as the center people can only sustain a few kms and definetly not a few hours. Front bumber ground clearance is low as much as 2 inches as my swift which makes it vurnable to large speed breakers at hight speed. A little care can overcome this problem. There was a noticable humming tyre noise for a rear passangers on some roads as the copue design moves all the rumbling sounds to the back.

      Final Words As for the people who complaint for this car I have only one sentence "If you dont know how to dance you complaint about the uneveness of the floor" A good driver just loves anything he drives. Its a cool car and a well thought design with all the unique features.

      Areas of improvement Front ground clearance, rear passanger hard center seat, rear passenger tyre rumbling noise. Thats it, I could only find these things in 2 weeks.

      I'm here to warn you guys if you are here to research before buying any of Hyundai product, plz research about the dealers too.I have put myself into wrong hands.Its Suhrit Hyundai, new delhi.They are buch of real bstards.They have made my life miserable.They were supposed to deliver me Santro GLS last week, but its still undelivered inspite of getting 90% of the payments.And they are not even giving a final date for the same.They dont even bother to pick up my call.And by chance they do say,everytime they say to give them 2-3 more days.Finally today I have lodged a complaint today with Hyundai about  all this.They have promised me to resolve this in 4 working days.Lets hope things get resolved soon.I dont know how will be their service post-sell if they are this bat before the sell.Plz keep warning your friends and relatives of such dealers, Suhrit Hyundai,Delhi in particular.

      I was planning to purchase a good diesel sedan between the price range of  8-12 Lakh. My requirements were on good comfort, pickup and mileage. I had zeroed on Scorpio Mhawk, Fiesta and Verna. I had test driven Scorpio first and i was totally disappointed by the cheap looking interiors and the additional 2 lakh for the new engine did'nt give any justice for the vehicle. As for Fiesta, my dad already owns it. As for Verna, i just hated it right from the day of its release. But anyway i decided to go for a test drive and i had requested Talwar Mobiles, secunderabad for a test drive.

      I had taken a test drive on a empty highway along with 3 friends sitting at the back and the executive next to me in the front. I just started to drive the vehicle and when the RPM touched 2k, i could feel the car rising like a horse before galloping. My heart skipped a beat for a moment. I had driven so many vehicles and not this type! The car just did'nt complain about the number of people sitting inside and instead took off as if there was just 1 person inside.

      The AC was excellent, the steering movement was really smooth and so was the feather touch gear and i could feel that i was on a cloud for a moment. Now i came to know why Verna has the caption "Feel it"! From then on i am head over heels for the vehicle. I have started to admire every Verna i see on the road.

      The only problem with Verna is that Hyundai does not offer good colours. Real Earth, Dynasty red and Bright Silver were somewhat better. I had to choose Sky blue as i was little keen on astrology. Currently i have placed an order for VGT SX Crdi with ABS and on road price came to Rs.9,29,300 at Hyderabad and expecting to receive in another couple of days.

      To compare Verna with Fiesta, the former scores more on mileage and comfort, while Verna scores more on pickup and looks. Fiesta is bit bulkier, while Verna is sleek.

      Also Hyundai has already established itself at the 2nd spot in terms of Authorised Centres across India. Even the spares are reasonable after Maruthi.

      My advice, Verna is not for weak hearts and budget consicious people, while others - Feel it and enjoy it!

      Do you know? Getz diesel car has the same verna's diesel engine inside the hood! Wonder how the light car will stay on the road with 110ps power on the engine!

      Exterior Very Good Looking, Solid Sports Style, Contious side lines looks even more masculine.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good Space, very comfort, Loaded with all features even at base model, good leg room. the absence of center hump rear floor is a plus. Automatic Climate control, USB, Good sound system, cooling glass holder, i-pod Dock, ABS , EPD, Airbag.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is noiseless, Very smothy performance, Great pick up, fair fuel economy, good transmission gearox, Noiseless, Even you don't feel wen engine is started. i can only manage to find from RPM meter. Zero noise, as of like riding a battery car. Good pick up at a low gears.

      Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is indeed good, and awesome handling.

      Final Words Overall best car in this segment, and good value for money, Fully loaded feature at base model, Huge interior space, exterios is stylish, huge boot space.

      Areas of improvement Suspension is too soft, so when hit bumps is move a bit up and down. So, design to suit indian roads.

       stunning look. Pick is very good.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

      All r in-built. Space for keeping thing is low. seating comfort is nice but if the back seat is bit height it will much more comfort.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       

       Engine very much responsive. as of now it is showing 15K/L milage. Gearbox is very smooth.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Very nice & Handling is also very good.

      Final Words

       If u have budget must buy car. no comparison in any aspect with any car.

      In many of the review they wrote about Ground clearance is low but I have tested in many places no issues. In this model I got 16" alloy wheel.

      No sound from engine.  i can say that this is not belongs to this segment it has to be compared with next level of sedans.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      I have purchased a brand new Hyundai Verna 1.6 CRDi SX on 23.03.2012 from Eros Hyundai, Nagpur. The vehicle has been detected with faulty gear box in 15 days (1,500 kms run) only. They say, they have to DISMANTLE the GEAR BOX. Company is taking it very lightly and behaving very irresonsibly. The vehicle has been lying at the company service station since 9.4.2012 & they just accept the fault but want to repair it. Even emails sent to centralised customer service & grievence system at website haven't been responded for over 3 days.

      Even the rear suspensions are making a lot of noise and they say its normal... Go to hell.. m driving car for last 12 years & this is my first brand shift from Maruti.. Now i repent. 

      WTF did they have PDI for??? This is the worst quality of product mfgd by Hyundai & they dont even care to pay any heed to customer's complaints. They are just busy with making nice looking vehicles with worst and cheap components... 

      Waste of my hard earned 11 lacs...

      I wont suggest anyone to buy a Hyundai Car.. They cant even get the basics right.. 

       

      Final Words

      Never buy a Hyundai diesel car.. Worst in customer service !!!
