Exterior

 hyundai has continued their "fluidic" design philosophy with the new sonata , turning it from a boxy and quite understated design from the previous generation ,to what can only be described as possibly one of the best looking cars in its segment.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 sonata is quite well equipped with paking sensors , reverse camera,traction control,retracting,rear AC.hyundai has worked a lot in making sonata a good place to be in and it has succeeded in that also.its eally comfortable to be in.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 hyundai has decided to launch sonata with only a 2.4 litre petrol gdi engine which i think might be the only shortcoming of a wonderful product as the indian mindset  has literally given up thinking a petrol engine.while coming back to petrol engine its quite punchy and torquey with 249 kgm of torque at 4250 rpm.while really the gearboxes are fun which include a 6 manual and 6 auto.

Ride Quality & Handling

 it has a really sharp steering and overtaking is a breeze an exhilarative package

Final Words

 vw jeta , skoda laura beware becoz here is a real executive sedan.

Areas of improvement  

 looks,space,boot, ride quality ,interior finish

 

outlandish looks,powerful engine,spacious boot,chrome workonly available in petrol,too much styling in interior,poor plastics.
